That animation models book is very tempting. Hopefully they have models for some of the more obscure characters too.

The have all the animation models in the Generations book that I own. Think this IDW one will still be worth owning? I assume the characters will probably be given more space in it and that it'd be more expansive.

I'm disappointed that the ARK models book isn't in colour, unless there's a colour section later on. If not, then these will just be the same as the entries in the MARVEL UNIVERSE series (which were coloured) and the rear of the Japanese GENERATIONS tome (as Ktulu stated).
    May well cancel my order.

Some of the Ark material exists in Generations already, but the larger image sizes and additional character angles make this a must - for me, anyway. :D

The Ark is a must have for me. I'm a huge fan of original animation models. I've seen some of this stuff in the Generations book, but there are multiple angles I haven't seen before. Did you see the Prime transformation key frames? Awesome!! This could come in handy in the future. :D

I just hope the animation model gallery goes from 84 to 89/90, including Masterforce, Victory and Zone. Maybe even the Marvel TF Universe entries' drawings too. Otherwise, the 84-86 animation models are all in the TRansformers Generations book already.

If it is just the Marvel book in black and white I'll pass, as I have it already.

The speed at which IDW are producing TPB publications has got me wondering whether I should be buying the comics though. I prefer the books and since the wait isn't that long...

What's the point of that? These are the actual models from the 1980s.
