I think you've included the best of everything on this build. It all works and is practical in every sense.

Amazing! You've done a great job on this, man! I love the Pretender "shell" and I see this possibly catching on with other 'bashers. It's great idea! What did you use for the human head?

Thank, makeing a shell would mean the core bot would suffer! He would have to be small if you want to make the shell look good.

Thanks, been thinking of this since i did Bludgeon.

I have a Alt head, and now that I see what your saying im gonna fix it.

Cool, I have a few others in the works now.

    Thxs

    Thxs

    Dont tell him that lol...Thxs

Good to hear, hope to see more pretender love.

Yea, my alt head looks more..real. Post pics tonight.

If you look at the original G1 robots, the only human part was the head..I thought of them as exosuits, but bigger.

    Thxs

hopefully well see some non ROTF pretenders in the line up some day.

    Thanks

I used a Binonic commando! He was 8 inch I think

Thanks Z....I studied your Rivers and applied the lessons learned!

Yes its 1/100 BUt the bot was a little bigger because of the design. it has some die cast inner parts. For Metalhawk I went metal lol.

Nicely done... and sort of CREEPY. :lol

The fleshy jowels around the head looks really distracting to me, and takes away from the final effect, I think. (EDIT: I see you fixed that! :)  )

Other than that, pretty nice. The Breacher head looks awesome on that Energon mold.

Outstanding. Simply outstanding. I love how the bot is so much smaller compared to the pretender.

MUCH better, I still loved it before but moving the chin strap is a huge improvement. Alt head is cool too. Any thoughts of doing a robotic mask for the Pretender shell body?

    Thanks for the detailed feedback,

I cut the ball joint from a gundam model and just transferred onto breecher. Pick a head for metalhawk was pretty difficult but when I seen Breecher sitting in walgreens I knew it would work!

Its a Bionic Commando and a CALL of Duty guy. But Randy Orton almost was the face.
    thanks!

    Thanks

hoping, my Bludgeon really stated it for me.

That shell is amazing. Definitely captures the box art look. DAMN nice job! The inner-robot is good, too, but the shell is amazing!

Amazing and well done, and the backpack idea was neatly accomplished. Works on so many levels.

My only negative remarks might be the human head is sitting slightly too high off the body, as well as the cognitive dissonance from seeing a human head atop a mechanical body as if they don't really fit together. Maybe it's because the head is too realistic in contrast to the cartoonish aesthetics of the body? I dunno. The helm helps to integrate both head and bod though so in the end everything is alright.

Yeah I loved your Bludgeon ever since I first saw it. That was many kinds of awesome...

That Bludgeon is beautiful. It's a pity that the robot himself is so small, but then the original figure wasn't bigger either, and it's not like there are a wealth of Scout class tank moulds to choose from...
