I dunno, it comes out the same time as Resistance, and I'd much rather buy Res2 first, especially after a successful 8 player coop campaign last night, but the trailer I saw for this on South Park this week looked pretty badass, despite the potential hand holding and sluggish characters.

This one has 4 player coop which might be fun for some TFW madness.

Twin-Twist, you in on this one?

How about 8 player Resistance Coop? The conversations to be had in an 8 player match would be the stuff of Sony Censoring Legends

The only thing I hAve to sAy is thAt I hAve to hAnd it to these guys, they know how to use normAl mApping to the extreme. I meAn it doesn't look bAd, and it's not used just for the sAke of using it. Doom 3 wAs the lAst gAme thAt I felt this wAy About.

I'm not sAying I'm crAzy About their typicAl SpAce MArine design, but they do mAke them look good.

 

I cancelled my Resistance 2 pre-order. After being "meh" over the first I figured the 2nd wouldn't do it for me.

gears of war FTMFW and i cant wait for gears 2 to come out. the first one is the reason i bought my xbox 360!

 

But, But, But 8 player coop. The sheer madness. I was torn on part one. I really did enjoy it and its atmosphere, but it was far from being the best FPS I have ever played. Doom 1 and 2 and Heretic 1 still hold that crown, but I think the same elements work well with a team of 8 people. It was definitely fun last night.

I guess I should make a Resistance 2 thread or move this to Res2 beta's thread, hehehe.

I'll give GeArs a rental though. I am curious.

 

If I get the game, I'll gladly do some COOP crazyness for Gears 2. I liked the first game, but it also just happens to be one of those game I didnt buy. I just like the gunfighting  

 

I just figure LBP and Valkyria Chronicles will keep me busy, plus 30 days to RB2 here, so... yeah I'm pretty busy until SFIV, Resi 5 and Bionic Commando.

So not much pressing A for me, good luck to those brave enough to take on the challenge, though.

 

Valkyria will be mine. Games like that are almost all but forgotten. I wish Sega would take that same engine and make a new Shining Force.

The next game I intend to get on Day One is Resi 5. However, I will be picking up GOW2 at some point, along with Dead Space.

 

Now that RE5 has added non-tank controls, it has definitely gone up on my list. That is going to be one for the history books of gaming.

 

I will have my Gears 2 at midnight, and play all night into the next day. Already requested off at work.

 

I am getting my GOW2 at Midnight. Took the Friday off too.

I plan on playing all weekend that it comes out!
