I can't claim credit for this banner, and I've forgotten where I found it, if anyone knows I'll be happy to post the original source The repaints below are all mine though: Unlike many, I actually LIKE Voyager Megatron and the whole frozen/ice motif. I felt it could look a sight better though, so I applied some new paint. Unfortunately, nothing can save Megatron's less-than-stellar jet mode... No leader is complete without a backstabbing henchman around... Yes, they're Doc Ock hands - I tried to get a little creative with it though, aiming for the dual-thumb look (most prevalent on the LOC Starscream figure, but I believe, movie accurate). I'm thinking of building a cryo-freeze chamber for Megatron, using legos. The kit I have in mind is Barraki Deapsea Patrol as it seems to have the right sort of pieces. Any alternative suggestions would be welcome though. Thanks for looking!
Both are great and that Starscream is really nice. It looks more like a sculpture or high-end model of some sort. I love that flat/dull coloring.
I too used Doc Ock hands for my screamer, but they're dfienetly not as cool as yours. By the way, hit up some local flea markets and try to find the movie Batcave playset. You could probably use those computer monitors in there for the cryo freeze chamber. The batcave itself could probably be redecoed into the S7 base. Just stick an Allspark Cube in there with Megs.
screamer is awsome, really it is, and how did you make those hands for him??? I realise they connect by magnets probably, but you really modiffied those claws didnt you? think you could make some for the rest of us??
I did the exact same thing with my Megs, save the eyes. Mine are red. The silver hands make the Jet mode so much better. Starscream is uber love.
The hands are made from Doc-Ock claws from a Spiderman action figure. I removed one of the "pointy" claws, threaded the hole with a bit of those grey twisties that bind Transformers in their plastic prisons, then clipped the "flat" claws onto that. Loose bits glued into place and smoothed over with "green-stuff" modelling putty. If you provide the Doc Ock figure, I'm happy to make 'Screamer hands for a nominal fee (cost of magnets + shipping).
