Customs: Prepping unpainted panels for gloss coat

    Can someone tell me the best way to prep the unpainted parts of my ROTF figure for gloss coat? All the panels that have flames and blue/red I am not painting, but I want to spray the whole figure with a gloss coat. What's the best way to ensure the coat sticks to the unpainted parts?
