I always thought that Ruination was a far cooler name than Bruticus (maybe because bruticus sounds a bit silly in spanish), but the individual combaticon names were cooler than the decepticon commandos' (movor and rotor? meh) Great combiner overall, good work!. If I may suggest something, though, perhaps Ruination's head could be improved a bit, it doesn't look as good as the rest of the body in my opinion.
I would love to, but I don't have enough resources (i.e. money ) to make another one. But I could do some detailed pics and show the connections I used etc. I completely agree with you about the head, but this is a low-resource custom. So I used leftovers to fulfill my needs. Ruination's head was built using a Neo-shifter head (his face is actually the NS' back of the head), two L-shape connectors from Lego technics, and the "fingers" from a KO Superion Maximus forms the "antenae". But I'll try and sculpt a new head from scratch. Thanks for yor comments, guys!
Making this project into Ruination was a great move You've got some good work going on here! I think you should have made Rollbar look a bit less Hound like, though. Removing the yellow and the star, and adding some red-orange to the Hound mold would be the major changes. Also, the white/gray portions could be painted as well. The way you have the limbs combining is great. The limbs being able to combine Scramble City style is what so many of these other combiner customs are lacking. GREAT work
Lol I have nothing against Unicron/Primus parts for customizing either. * Looks at unicron waist at desk* I really like the way you combined these bots
Clever use of the limbs there, scramble city style too! It is rarely seen, great effort! I think a few more custom Bruticii will have similar limbs thanks to this.
Thanks for the tips, SQ7! Receiving a compliment from you is a honor to me, as I look after your work, as well as the work of so many other gret customizers we have here (like Frenzy_Rumble, Ptitevite, Moessilac, Autobotx23, Sculpt-bot... just to name a few) to inpire me. I'll try and incorporate your sugestions into Rollbar and make it better! Thanks! Thanks, man! I'll be happy if my work helps to inspire someone to do something similar!
You're certainly welcome! It's very obvious you've put a lot of thought and work into this one, and I feel that it's really one a few small steps away from being just awesome. Certainly keep us posted
