Vehicons just came back in stock. Was able to pick one up just now to fulfill my completist tendencies!

Not much, I could pick up 10 locally and sell them at cost if I wanted to.

Get for the alt mode. Way nicer paint job in my opinion.

Not sure why I'd want to buy a $50+shipping FE Vehicon when I can get the superior RiD version for $16

They said stock was coming in the week after the preorders went up, and the stock came in. I have one of those Bulkheads on my dresser.

If you're complaining that it wasn't put on the site for sale a week after preorders went up, well, of course it wasn't. They all went to people who preordered. There weren't any left.

How's that working out for RTS Rumble? Or DOTM Que or Soundwave?

These things were never sold to any US stores to turn around and sell them to TJMaxx and Marshalls. There is a microscopic chance that by some miracle they could show up there like some cancelled GI Joe vehicles did, but it's not a strong enough chance for most people to even consider betting on.

I'm sure there's some profit-taking in there but we don't know how much. If RK bought these from a third-party instead of the normal Takara distributor at a higher price they'd had to charge a higher price in turn. Give them some credit, they could have charged a higher price for the Hasbro Bulkhead but didn't.

Not really my point or a factor in my case. I'm looking to get one version of each mainline Vehicon - that will be the extent of my "army-building".

I've already got the Takara FE Vehicon, but there was no North American version of that mold, even up in Canada. So what I'm wondering is, will this be the same FE Vehicon, or with the usual slight differences between Hasbro and Takara (colours, etc.)?

    Vehicon and Cliffjumper won't.

I'm almost certain the others will. There are tons of FE Bumblebees at quite a few of the TRUs up here, and a pretty good amount of Starscreams and Arcees, too.

I should care - but oddly "I dont" I probably would if they were a bit cheaper - but I still object paying Japanese prices for American toys.

It's no big deal, just putting that out there since people were being encouraged to post new threads, when in fact that is against the rules.

    Yep.

Also for the people qqing about the price or things being out of stock, there're quite a few people selling these things in the Junkion (well, Cliffjumper, Starscream & Arcee anyway), so its far from the end of the world as we know it.

Err, I got my Bulkhead just fine?

Robot Kingdom have always been a solid company in my opinion and i've ordered from plently. Vehicon is probably being reissued in a more limited number hence the increased price.

I was interested in the FE Vehicon just so I could have one of each 'model' of Vehicon (RiD Deluxe, FE Deluxe, Jet Deluxe, Cyberverse Legion), but $50 before shipping is way too much to spend on a troop-builder. I might have been tempted if it were at the ~$37 price of the others, though.
