I am not much of a movie style fan for the transformers but my cousin asked me if they were releasing a Thundercracker version (which obviously they are) but do you guys think I should preorder one online or just wait until they hit the stores (which should be in the next week or two I believe). I want to make sure I get him one for his birthday. He has every Thundercracker possible so he wants to add it to his collection.

They're out now so if you are willingly to search you'll probably find one (I found several at two different WMs just the other day, but I had already ordered from Target online)... If not then order online.

Nah, just wait. Most Transformers can be found at your local Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, TRU, KB Toys or Khol's with a little bit of patience. That and you won't pay online store markups for something you can easily find in a store. The only things I preorder from online stores are things that I'd otherwise have to import myself. Otherwise, you're better off just waiting unless you live overseas than it's probably all the same for you.

Thanks guys for the replies. I will hit up a couple of Walmarts today and see what I can find.

Depending on where you live, there are several out now at my local Wal-Marts. Plus most stores should be receiving a new shipment of T-formers within the next couple of days. You might also look at Wal-marts website. If they have it online, you can use sight to store option and get it at store price shipped for free to your closest store in just a couple of days. Depending on availability.

That is a good idea. I will give it a try. I looked at 4 Walmarts and 2 Targets with no luck so far.

The Voyagers seem to be a little bit easier to find than the deluxes, so if you put some time into the hunt, you'll probably eventually find one.

I just picked up a Thundercracker (& "Rescue Ratchet") yesterday from my local Walmart in Minnesota, so they should be hitting the stores pretty quickly (if not already)

You can check the Sightings thread for your area, to see if anyone else has found them locally.

Sounds like your wasting more money in gas than the extra cost of having one shipped to you. Unless you like the hunt.

Yeppers.... I get a lot of TFs at Target and K-Mart. Wal-Mart... not much luck. It just depends on who you're looking for.
