Just had to get this out of my system. Unfortunately, no camera on me.

Don't think anybody is still hunting these but thought I'd throw a warning out. At the Pearland 288 Walmart there is a pinkie Megs in a Premium box and a normal blackout in a Premium box. Really pisses me off because the twist ties on them still look legit. The blackout especially still has those tight clear rubber bands on it. I don't condone swapping out loose ones but this makes no sense at all to me. It's like someone destroy four perfectly good MISB boxes to swap them out. I mentioned it to the lady working there but she said only the manager could pull something off the shelf AND keep it off and the manager only works M-F.

It annoys and amazes me that people can be pathetic enough to do that. It's hard to bear being in the same fandom as people who would do that.

Just encountered this myself today at Walmart with a Premium Prime... complete disgrace. Retailers need to be smarter than this, they've allowed a completely legal form of shoplifting by not making sure their return desk clerks aren't smart enough to tell the difference.

most collectors could probably pay for the second one anyway but it understandable how they feel cheated by Hasbro

Not always, in the case of Bumblebee and Prime it also robs someone of the remolds that are the whole point of the figure. I might have walked away with a Premium Prime today but someone felt like stealing it before I got there.

Are it's eyes bright blue? If yes, it's premium, otherwise, it isn't.

While I don't think most kids would care about the relatively minor difference between a TF movie toy and its premium version, I would definitely be pissed if i saw premium packaging with a normal movie TF in it. I will say, though, if Hasbro had released these versions the first time around, we probably wouldn't have this problem. After all, if you payed $40 for Movie leader Prime last year, and then this year see one with better paint apps, a more movie-accurate head mold, and a better weapon for the same price, you feel a bit ripped-off.

I'm more disgusted at Hasbro for re-releasing these figs this way.

More power to them, I say. If the store was smart enough to see the fact the figures where the wrong figures, it wouldn't have happened.

If I had the old one, and bought the premium, I'd be VERY tempted to do the same, is all I'm saying.
