    Wrecker-ed Roadbuster

Evening all. I got my hands on a deluxe Roadbuster, and it wasn't bad. Problem is, the vehicle's plain mode renders the figure unable to be movie-accurate. So, I got a picture of the real car and tried to paint it accurately. These are the improvements:
    • Extra/movie-accurate colours
    • Battle scratches
    • Movie-accurate pin-striping in car and ankle
    • Removed spring from MechTech
    • Swapped the "88" colours on the roof (hard to do)
    • Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the is a swivel on the hip/thigh connecting to the wheel. It allows the wheel to rotate to the middle of the thigh.

I like the realistic scratches with the wear and tear. With how realistic you made it, my only gripe would be that the Mechtech weapon looks too... clean.
    Otherwise, excellent work!

Great job on the weathering for robot mode, I just wouldn't transform it--car modes are always clean & damage free (except Megatron). Should've stuck on some reprolabels before beating him up, the stickers really add detail. Can't believe how awesome the Dread looks as a pile of scrap, just can't do that to 1 of mine.

nice wirk, especially to swap the 88 on the top, well done!

also love the thin stripes on the hood, very very nice!

you should get the reprolable-stickerset to get him much more accurate than he is atm :)

    go on mate!

again its a great custom if you consider it as battle damage "effect" and and the premium (for me) is kinda misleading

    maybe it's cause this:

premium implies, that the paint-apps are clean, sharp and smooth. the dirty and drybrush all over the figure is nearly the opposite of that, i call this: battle damaged, or - when it fits -movieaccurate :)

so your customs is a battledamaged version for me, maybe also for micky24 and Yautja?

no matter: hope to see more from you, maybe topspin next? :)

Premium for me would be the added paint aps that Hasbro gives, which includes chroming and more detailing.
For me, this custom would indeed be a battle-damaged version. Not saying that's a bad thing at all, as I really like what the OP did here.

yes that what i also thought also the word premium and battle damage look kinda contradicts each other,so its more like a battle damage than premium for me

I really like the treatment you've given this. I think the "Premium" fits, as it denotes that it's something more than the standard edition. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!

Nice! I love the stealth mode. There may be a few too many scratches for me, and a bit too "randomized" for lack of a better word. Real world scratches tend to occur in specific spots, but whatever, still a great take on this figure. Nice work.
