"Things That May Happen in the Next Hundred Years"

Some of these were right on the money, others were pretty silly.

Scary amount of either correct or nearly-correct stuff in there; even some of the ones that are WAY off bear some resemblance to things that have actually come to pass. Very cool find!

The bullet about horses being replaced with cars is really impressively accurate. I also like the "Man will see around the world" and "Telephones around the world" segment - he's virtually describing the internet.

I noticed "CDN Finally Gets A Date" was conspiciously absent. *sigh* Here's hoping for the next hundred years.

I honestly thought they were going to predict human colonies on pluto or the earth devastated by an alian invasion, but they got many things right.

I've actually heard that the technology exists to build flying cars, but it's not gonna happen for that reason. Too many crashes. Cars crashing already on the ground will have less fatalities than cars crashing in the sky then falling to the ground.

I am with you. If only a college education was free in this country... :(

Heck, just move to Europe, period... I heard that France has a free college system too.

As far as the list, it reminds of the "accomplishments" mankind was suppose to do by today, like establish colonies on the Moon, interstellar travel, and the proverbal "flying car". Well, so much for progress, tho I am surprised by so many accurate predictions.

Be greatful for that much, I heard that they found stone tablets in Israel with "Yak shalt not be laid" carved into them.
