Economy crash? Sort of, but it's slowly coming back up
Legalized Marijuana? Some states, but requires prescription
Earthquakes? Chilly, Haiti, to name a few
    African American President? Yep
    Unmanned Air Vehicles? Yep
Artificial Intelligence? Getting closer. Look at Honda's humanoid robot and look at that Asian humanoid robot thingy.
Cyborgs? High-tech artificial limbs, now experimenting with artificial sight. One guy has implants that he uses to control his house. Forget his name but I'm sure you've heard about it.
    Nanotechnology? Experimental stages

What else am I missing? Discuss seriously or humorously.

I'm not sure why this was thought of as spam. This thread certainly didn't get the response I was looking for.
There have been several movies that talked about or shown the things that have been happening this decade so I was trying to be serious. Oh well, never mind. :(

Nowhere near. The bodies are better, the software still has a very, very long way to go. The ASIMO has next-to-no decision-making capability whatsoever.

I'm sure you realize that these things happened many many times before movies were around to "predict" them, so I don't see why you're including them as categories.

I kinda see what you're trying to do with this thread, but it's just not thought out very well. So yeah,:spam ....sorry.

Not a movie, but The Simpsons predicted Halley's Comet colliding with the Moon.

I think the first movie, The Time Machine, they predicted us blowing up bit's of the Moon in order to start colonizing it.
Just recently NASA purposely crashed a rocket into Mars hoping to get a chunk of ice for examining possibilities of life?
