That'll be fun to sleeve...
I mean, Flamewar was wave 1. They might do Victorion…
Wake me when they've got Piranacon.
...then someone sell me their Piranacon so I don't have to go digging through boosters.
The true combiner list
Guesss I'd better try and finish wave 1 ugh
Don't make promises you can't keep.
...i wonder if they'll make itty-bitty quarter-sized character cards for the cassette combiners...
Welp, now I know when I'm getting into the game.
I'mma go take a nap.
Someone wake me up when Combaticons are announced.
I actually super dig the tactile feel of unfolding a card to transform it. I'm wondering if it's possible to do a prefolded sleeve also. Maybe a tight fitting sleeve that has a crease already in it, then two half top loaders that can co around each part of the card so there is a hinge?
I was worried about this too when I heard about folding cards..........
HOWEVER, easy fix.
The card (unfolded) is the same size as the normal character card, which means you can just sleeve it in the normal sleeves and cover whichever mode your not in with some sort of marker.
This way -- cards protected in a sleeve; wear and tear of "folding" will be a minimum and you don't have to buy multiple characters, thus saving money.
I like this idea though its a bit like Exodia from Yugi Oh where you need all the parts to play them. Plus the art work is beautiful
wasn\'t this picture used in potp
At least all five characters are Uncommon. Hopefully it stays that way for all of the teams.
If there are 6 combiners (I think that was announced?), I bet 2 of the 6 will require at least one rare character card.
Devastator and Superion.
I understand that it is a fitting way for the cards to have three sides with this folding solution but I kind of hate it. Maybe I dont need to own everything for this game after all, makes it easier on the wallet if nothing else.
I guess this is the way Astrotrain, Blitzwing, Springer etc will happen down the line too.
Well, I'm looking forward to seeing more standard bi-changer transformers besides Windblade that was shown previously.
All the cards of a combiner will be of the same rarity.
Ah, so there will be common combiners, uncommon combiners, and rare combiners. Yeesh - don't tell me SuperRare combiners?
No Superrare combiners I think was said on the what the fuck atTFW podcast
It's just WTF. No profanity.
So with the reveals of the combiner Enigma card (Predaking so far), Torox, Green Pips, and new rules being introduced. Wave 2 appears to throw some serious swings into the TF TCG mix.
- Green Pips will make it playing combiner Enigma cards HELLA-easy as discarding a card from one's hand to put a green pip'd card flipped during attack or defense is revealed is a very simple feat.
- New Rule: transforming KO'd characters. Not only does this make combining Combiners that much more feasible, but also makes Skrapnel and Sludge even more deadly than before.
- Torox: this bovine bastich in alt-mode is more ebil than one thinks. He stops healing, all sorts, done, zilcho. I don't just mean Medic, Repair Bay, character abilities, and whatnots, but the big one -- He stops I Still Function
