    Hey all,

Just thought i'd post the pencils for the latest piece that i'm working on. And by latest piece i do off course mean copying a picture in the back of one of my trade paperbacks... and making loads of mistakes in the process!!

Once again this is only a practice piece (number 3 so far) to help me get the hang of drawing TF's and get me back into drawing in general.

I hope you like but as always comments and criticism are greatly appreciated.

    Loving it.
If that's practice, I cant wait to see once you back in the groove.
The only thing I can see (IMO) is the Razorclaw's Lion head seem to look smaller then his Mane. Other then that looks great to me.

It sure is! I reckon the guy that drew it might not have been a regular TF artist. The original is credited to Josh Medors and Rob Ruffolo, although i'm not sure who did what in terms of lines, inks and colours.

He he! Well if there's one dude whose advice should be taken into consideration when dealing with the Predacons who better than Nemesis Predaking himself!

Yeah now that you mention it the head is a little on the small side. I'll try and tidy it up in 'post-production'. There a ton of other mistakes as well but that's probably the most instantly noticable.

Thanks for the kind words by the way. I hope that when it comes to creating my own poses and compositions that i'll be able to do myself justice! As it stands so far i'm pretty good at copying someone else's work!

That's definitely the plan! If my art improves as much as your custom pieces then i'll be a happy chappy indeed!

    Thanks for the kind words!

    Thanks man.

I'm no artist by any means, so I can't really pick up on the mistakes that don't really jump out and smack you in the face. lol

Keep it up I'm sure you will do great. :thumbs2:
