I was trying to think up some new ideas for my Omega Supreme project, and decided to do a digibash to further help the creative juices flow, so I decided to do a digibash of Energon Barricade as a pre-earth Scorponok. I do remember someone coming up with this idea last year, but, couldn't remember who it was, or if they did a digibash of what it could look like. C & C are welcome. Thanks for looking.

By Scorponok, I'm assuming you mean the BW one? I think it fits him well. Better than most of the Botcon ones.

Thanks guys, and yeah, it's based off of Beast Wars Scorpy, lol. Although, now that I think about it, the mold wouldn't be that bad for a G1 homage of Scorponok (though I know there would be fans bitching about the difference in alt-modes).

That looks really good. Are you going to do an actual bash or just a digi? Were there any Botcon Pre-earth Scorponoks?

I'm thinking about doing it. If I can get a Barricade for a decent price, and also get all the right colored paints, I'll do it. No, there weren't any Botcon Pre-earth Scorpy's, well, that I know of anyways. I'm not even sure he was featured in the comic like Airazor was.

I have a Barricade for sale if you're interested.

And there was no Botcon pre-earth Scorpy, but I'd really like to see it done.

How much you looking to get for it? As of now, I don't have much, if any, cash that I can spend towards TF's, so I might not be able to purchase it for a while (I'm going to be applying for a new job here soon threw my college).

Edit: PM'ed you what I've posted here.

Ok, I didn't know if he ever did appear or not. Any idea of what mold he was based on?

You said you were low on cash so this won't help you much but I think the TFCC still has Barricade's for sale. (not very "sale" priced, just regular CC prices) if anyone else wants to do this.

Good luck getting that job THROUGH the college.

They already used the Brakedown mold for a Botcon pre-earth figure but that could work as a Scorpy as well. (the way the front end hangs behind his head, in bot mode).

I've worked something out with Soundblaster1, so I should most likely be getting one, though I actually might change my mind before I do buy it off of him. One thing, I don't remember them using Brakedown for any Botcon pre-earth figure. If you're talking about this one, it's Barricade, lol.

That looks very cool. I could see a modified Energon Sharkticon and Cybertron Dark Scorponok, in that comic scan.
