    Greetings, TFW2005ians!
a surprisingly overlooked feature of Combiner Wars/Unite Warriors/Power of the Primes Deluxes is that 2-combinations can be made with minimal modding. Here are Starscream and Breakdown (from Grand Galvatron). DSCN0437.JPG
To make the legs more proportional it is necessary to drill holes in the bottom of their feet: DSCN0450.JPG
Sorry that's so blurry. Basically, any Deluxe Combiner limb('unite warrior') can also form a Powerlinx.

Power of the Primes is a little trickier: DSCN0440.JPG Note that the Prime Master fills in Jazz's chest cavity-- I had to scoop out some plastic to get his head to fit. DSCN0442.JPG The Prime Armor hand doesn't really turn into a foot either, so that's sort of a problem... DSCN0443.JPG This makes balance quite difficult, as the kibble backpacks are huge. DSCN0452.JPG And, as seen above, Jazz and Breakdown don't work as well as having a jetformer on top. DSCN0451.JPG oh, and by the way... DSCN0453.JPG

Cool but I would never drill holes into a unite warriors figure

My thoughts too, particularly for those Grand Galvatron guys.

But I can't argue with the results, works quite well. Can you tell us how you managed to get Starscream to sit securely on breakdown?

I'll answer this one, Breakdown's head is in Starscream's chest. There would be a little bit of wobble, but it leaves the chest looking pretty solid. I tell you now, if anyone's got big enough feet, you don't need to drill in to get the same effect. It just results in a *slightly* shorter figure, but still works out.

And uhm, yes, that above is my effort to do similar, unfortunately as Swoop is on his back, the wings get in the way if I try to use his legs as the arms, and there just aren't enough ports on those legs, so it's largely Swoop just adding extra bulk, a weapon, and possibly some extra smarts to Slug, lol.

Yea... That'd be the only thing I'd nope out on. Maybe someone could design an adaptor of sorts, to avoid drilling.

Breakdown's combiner port(or anyone's) fits into the cavity left by Starscream's combiner port.

Actually, breakdown's combiner port. The head would be too small.

In that case, you'd need a separate adapter for every single figure, not to mention the height required for the peghole would be tall enough anyway. Besides, the holes are part of a larger plot.

Ah yeah, if that silver bit is at the back of Breakdown's head, I can see that.
