I saw it in Peaugh's video, but I'm not exactly sure of how to fix the powerizer gun to not have the mechtech gimmick, and just act on friction. Can somebody explain it to me in detail?

    Thanks in advance.

You can't truly fix something that was designe already broken.

Pray somebody makes an add-on kit. Both Voyager molds would benefit from a pair of detailed, show-accurate weapons.

Might have to apply a few drops of glue on either side, let it dry, and put it back together to add more friction.

    1. Open it, take the spring for a moment and reassemble it on the extended position.

    2. Drop the damn thing in the trash, buy RiD Arcee and give OP her giant rifle.

Yeah, and or give one of the big guns to Cliffjumper. That's what I'll be doing with Arcee's.

Also for me, I've always displayed my G1 Optimus Prime (well, technically G2 release, but its the G1 mold) without weapons because I felt it better represented the type of character & leader he was, so maybe that'd work with the RID Prime as well?

My original plan was to give him the giant gun I got from the cliffjumper add on kit I won in a contest. But, the ammo section of the gun and the fingers of prime prevent the gun from fitting. :[
it would've looked so epic too.

I basically just took the entire loop of the electronicy bits out. So I left in the piece that has the light in it initially, but took out the light, and got rid of that giant grey blob with the batteries and wiring. Then, I superglued it in the extended position. It has a large gap in it now, but at least it looks like a rifle and not a... whatever. I also gave him DotM Fireburst Optimus's weapon. So he's got quite an armory now.

Ditch that block of nonsense and give him a spare mechtech gun. At least that resembles a weapon of some kind.

I've tried doing that. He can't hold the MechTech weapons too well because he doesn't have a closed fist and his peg hole is a little too big.

Instead of taking out screws, I just wrap the little rubber band thingy that came withe it around the barrel keeping the gun in a position where only a minor touch will make the lights go.

I would just give my FE Prime's gun to my RiD Optimus Prime but I like my FE Prime bettter than RiD so I have my gun on him.

    This is my Powerizer Prime

My Optimus Prime is below. It still needs a few touch ups, but it definitely looks better. This was thanks to my sister-in-law, a new fellow TFW2005 member E_Dowely.
