^ Thanks. Pure fluke I noticed it while ordering Nemesis Prime from there. Yep, it confirms it. I am little doubting of the first or second quarter release date, though. That said, I hope it's that close.

Smolder instantly hit me as Mulder.
Backwind isn't a flattering name, agreed. However, this is what the dictionary says about the matter:

    back⋅wind [bak-wind]
–verb (used with object), -wind⋅ed, -wind⋅ing. Nautical.
    1. to divert wind against the lee side of (a sail) from another sail.
    2. to set (a sail) so that the wind is on what would ordinarily be
the lee side, as for turning the bow of a boat away from the wind.
    3. to blanket (another sailing vessel) by spilling wind from the sails of
one vessel onto the lee side of the sails of the other.

So maybe it's a boatformer? :thumb

I still think Windback would be a better name. As in winding back...

Pretty good name Smolder. Fox Smolder.

Searchlight, I wonder if that'll be an homage to the old throttlebot, or just namecycling. He really doesn't deserve an homage in the greater scheme of things, but I kinda hope it is.

Someone guess it right as I recall.

So Huffer and Smolder are/I] the same size after all, I would've sworn blind that smolder looked bigger. :lol

I'm looking forward to these, new cheap figures with no g1 connotations for people to whine about them not getting right and fun little gimmicks. :D

I wonder if the Caliburst/Searchlight mix up is indicative of there being more then these three figures or perhaps Hasbro just changed it. It was only a mockup package we saw after all.

Sure, good definitions, but it's a minicon's name. I don't expect the 2-packs' minicons to have vehicle form themselves.

But "Bigger" in what way? With Smolder's high shoulders I imagine he'll be "taller" than Huffer if measured to the top of his shoulders. It seemed obvious they'd have to be the same pricepoint, but there's also some variation in height among the bots at the same pricepoint.

I believe the only mix up we're seeing is the original poster making a small misstep when typing the names. The website link he used says Huffer/Caliburst

Either way these names sound decent but nothing that gets me too excited, pics of the toys will say a lot more

Bigger as in more expensive, I thought they were different classes, what with Smolder being identified as a commander. Sure Huffer may have the same thing but it wasn't on the front of the package and it had no sign of the blue plugs that smolder has either. Again that may be due to the Huffer package we saw being a mock up but that was what I took from it.

Moot point now tho, I'm happy with these guys being a tenner each.

Smolder's a cool name, but still on the fence about him & Chopster. Searchlight's probably a pass for me, but I'll wait to see pics of him.

Well i am really looking forward to this line and what it can do for my collection. Im just hoping that they will not look to movie-verse like so i can put them with my classics collection, other wise i may pass on all figures from this sub line. To this day i have yet to buy a ROTF figure, with the exception of the Superion and Bruticus sets, but those came from Energon anyway.
