Oh, for sure. Better hang on to all the doll hairs you can. You never know when someone might come to you with a Barbie doll with most of its hair out and you'll have to go all repair guy from Toy Story 2 on it.
Having watched the classic movie over again the other day, I really want that bastardized ninja megazord from the movie made somehow, just for nostalgia.
I have to wonder if they get around to finally giving a Legacy Shogun Megazord if they would move onto the Zeo stuff. Or...maybe they could revisit the original Legacy Megazord and...not make it a re-release of the 2010 Megazord with diecast that could actually work better with the heavy ass Legacy Dragonzord.
I wouldn't be against a new Legacy Dino Megazord especially since Dragonzord and Titanus already exist. Bandai of America can now design a new Dino Megazord accordingly instead of making Dragonzord and Titanus work with the 2010 mold but not caring about the issues. Unfortunately with the re-release of the '90s mold coming out, that won't be for a long time if it even happens.
Got my SOC megazord from hlj in last night, it is absolutely stunning. The look and feel are amazing, and it looks awesome next to my SOC voltron on my shelf. Going to adjust my displays to do an old and new thing, having new voltron and megazord behind the SOC ones on top of my shelves.
I kind of wonder if Bandai was waiting to coordinate Zeo with the (now not so) potential Power Rangers movie sequel. In which, then, if the movie does not happen, the toy phases and schedules are still set. Because the Legacy Shogun Megazord SHOULD have come out this year...instead, we've been getting re-issues and the upcoming B&G Titanus later this year with the Shogun Megazord probably next year. If they do a repaint or two in 2019, that sets up the Zeo Megazord for 2020, which is probably when the movie sequel would have come out.
Wait... what? Can you link to the info for this? I would be GREATLY interested in a reissue of the original Dino Megazord toy. Even better if that lead to a reissue of the Dragonzord as well... That said, like TaurusOxford, I thought I had heard the original molds were gone. Edit: Been doing some searching, and all I'm coming up with is stuf about re-releases of Legacy stuff. Apparently in-addition to the re-release of the Dragonzord, we're also getting a re-release of the dragon dagger.
Maybe... but he was talking about the idea of Bandai making a new Dino Megazord sculpt to better fit in with the Legacy versions of the Dragonzord and Titanus... so I'm not sure why he would think that reissue would be the reason they wouldn't do one... I don't know... Asked 4chan, and as of now they don't seem to know anything about it, so I guess there had to have been some confusion over some other PR news...
I had heard that mold got lost as well, but I was indeed mixing it up with something else or at least I couldn't find anything that specifically mentions the original Megazord. This was what I was referring to. TokuNation.com on Twitter TokuNation.com on Twitter
Interesting... I don't remember this announcement... Could potentially be the Megazord, but could also be a great number of different things...
Artisan DaiRenOh on display at TTS17. And...meh? I think BoA actually won this one as I think my Legacy TMZ is the superior product.
In this case, Legacy is definitely better than a repainted and die-casted reissue of a not so great mold. I remember the original from when I owned it in the '90s and the Legacy definitely blows it out of the water. People can say Zordbuilder sucks and to some extent it does, but aside from those modifications, the Legacy version of this Megazord is just stunning and leaps and bounds ahead of its original source. It's not worth the original asking price, but it's certainly worth $150.00 or so. The Artisan is going to be upwards of $230.00...
Indeed. Now, of course, if a SoC DaiRenOh sees production, that would be the figure to invest in. But, as I've said many times, it's kind of unfair to compare SoC to Legacy. But I think comparing Legacy and Artisan is absolutely on point fair. And, were they to release DaiZyuzen in Artisan, I'd have to reserve my judgement on that as well. Releasing a diecast version of the original...I dunno. Despite the stickers, I prefer the looks of the 2010 mold.
I don't really see how they could improve Dairen-O in the SoC line. Ryuuseio on his own sure, but because the 4 Kiden Beasts are basically armor, not such much outside of ankle rockers. You can't really give the toy an elbow bend or a waist swivel.
