Wouldn't it be cool if the PR 2017 movie have cameos of the original MMPR actors, just like the Ghostbusters 2016 movie had cameos of the original Ghostbuster actors. Cameos of PR actors from other seasons would be cool too.
The original MMPR actors are old enough to be the parents of the new rangers. Amy Jo Johnson is 46. She's old enough to have grandkids. Feel old now.
IF I recall right, they said they will not have any cameos because they don't want the movie to have anything to do with the original series. Given the designs, I can't say I'm surprised since they are purposely trying to go out of their way to make everything as alien from the source material as possible.
Ah, oh well. I don't really care about MMPR, mainly just want to see my friend Pattie on screen again.
Yeah.. It's got the UFO shaped head, and looks much closer to the original than what we've seen of the new megazord.
My thunder megazord arrived today from Amazon.. Isn't there a revised version of it that stands up more straight?.. I hope it's that version.
There is a revised version. If you see this #97110306 imprinted on the box near the barcode you have the revised version.
Yup. At first I looked at the leg pieces and they didn't have those tabs on the silver parts that I thought were meant to fix the issue.. So, I was worried.. But, it stands up straight just fine. I will say however that $200 for this is just straight up nuts. I honestly don't see where they came up with that price. I mean, the two leg zords are like exactly the same minus the heads. They didn't even bother reversing the mold so that the screws would be on the inner side of the leg. The leg extensions for the dragon mode are pretty cool, but the fact that there isn't really any useful articulation within them is a bummer. And that's not even mentioning that it's 2016 and they still don't bother improving the articulation. Hopefully I'll find a deal on the ninja megazord because the added articulation is something I'd like to check out. (It's a shame they couldn't have added elbow joints though)
46?! She looks amazing. Wow. I'm older than you by a few, some days I feel a lot older than I should and some days I feel younger. Usually, a bit older. Lack of sleep, kids and upcoming dental surgery makes for a bunch of sleepless nights. Heh. Even if you get the first run (which needs correcting) you can contact Bandai's customer service via phone, then they'll ask you to email them your information. About 2-3 weeks later, you'll receive replacement panels for the Unicorn and Griffin. Corrects the lean and makes it more stable. Really does make a world of difference and it's completely free. Their customer service is incredibly polite. Yeah, you might luck out and end up with a V2. But, like said, V1 can be fixed with a phone call and an email.
I have been trying to find action figures that are in scale with the legacy 6.5" figures to pose/battle the rangers. Anyone have suggestions? I've tried marv l legends but found that most of them are a little short compared to the 6.5" rangers.
Weirdly enough, the only toys I've found to be in scale with the Legacy figures are BOJ's S.I.C. line.
