Distribution has definitely been rather bad. I saw Hun-Grr once and the wave 2 deluxes exactly once. Saw Tailgate once, but not the other two, and never saw the wave 2 Prime Masters. Oddly, saw Rodimus Unicronus more than any of them.

It's good Hasbro is finally taking notice of this, but I wonder how much power they have to make anything significant happen.

Considering that wave 2 hasn't even hit anything close to retail saturation...or hell, appearing at all, I think wave 3 can wait just a bit longer.

Hope that this will actually come to fruition, and isn’t just some sweet talk, because the only thing I’ve found from Wave 2 is a single deluxe: Rippersnapper.

Here at the Lake of the Ozarks one case each of the deluxes hit our two Walmarts a few months back, the target got one case and has had a lone Rippersnapper for weeks.

Cripes. We’re all talking about this like we are reporting sightings of an ivory-billed woodpecker. It shouldn’t be so much of a freak occurrence to see toys on the shelf that we are talking about it like this.

I didn't have trouble getting the deluxes and legends I wanted but I never once saw the voyagers so this is good as long as it doesn't fuck up wave 3's distribution.

Still never managed to find Moonracer or Elita-1, so I'm excited to hear that. Been getting tempted to buy the Japanese version just to save some time

Toy factories aren't sitting around waiting for orders from Walmart and such. Stores have to preorder waves in advance. If the orders are small, Hasbro doesn't make many.

I think it's because we were spoiled by previous lines of Generations having 5 or 6 waves, we aren't used to this 3.5 waves stretched out across the entire year thing anymore.

Currently wave 1 keeps being restocked & nobody can find wave 2. This summer wave 2 will be restocked & we will never see wave 3. Wave 4 will never show up until it hits Ollies in September of 2019.

Go scalpers! You run the table! Hasbro keeps handing you free money on a silver platter you fucking scum!!!  lol

Is there any reason why Hasbro can't sell them to us directly via Hasbro toy shop?
I talked with the toy sales associate's of a few stores, they all repro that the store orders 1 case at best, so you get 1 chance for leaders, 1 figure per store, after that you are sol.
If Hasbro would stock the figures and sell from HTS, this could change the game as opposed to paying high mark ups from BBTS, TFS, Amazon, eBay and scalpers.

Aside from the Dinobots (which are always best sellers), most of wave 2 and 3 are shelfwarming here in Manila. Even TLK figures are getting snatched up (due to clearance sales).

I have Rippersnapper already, but a second chance to maybe get Hungry Boi? I'll take that.

Has there never been a time before this where Hasbro has had to make a public statement about the lack of product in distribution?

No, I know. I was offering a solution, not that you could actually buy them direct. Personally I think it's rather dumb that you can only buy certain things straight from them.

I’m glad to see Hasbro actually acknowledging that they dropped the ball. Hopefully they start showing up soon.

They can just add a re-ship wave? How? All of this has to be programmed into the supply chain and store shelf space waaayyy ahead of time. POTP was always supposed to be a 3-wave line, obviously kept short for some marketplace reason; now they're all like, "nevermind!"? It doesn't make sense.

Also hard to believe that any store in August would want a restock of February product instead of receiving new product that was always meant for August.
