It's confirmed. They come with the new Hand/ Foot attachments and the other thread showed pics of a partially transformed torso mode for Hun-Grr and Abominus' head.

$20 for a deluxe?  It wasn\'t that long ago that a deluxe sold for $10.  Don\'t get me wrong, these look great, but $20 per deluxe might end my collecting.  This is way more than just inflation.

The last time a Deluxe cost $10 at any sort of normal frequency was *before* Transformers Prime. And at that time a "Deluxe" figure had been $10 since Beast Wars.

And even at that point, people had noted the decreasing sizes or limited accessories that were slowly creeping in to the line.

So I dunno, but being able to go for as long as they did before finally have to start adjusting prices seems pretty admirable.

This is quite literally robbery... Okay not literally, but $19.99 is ridiculous.

These guys look great to me. They were some of the last G1 bots I bought straight off the shelves, and I can't wait to get the updated versions. Here's looking forward to combined mode pics!

The price increase is definitely making me want to wait for the Takara releases. If I'm going to pay premium prices, I'll wait and get the premium product. $110 for Abominus or Volcanicus vs $150 for a Unite Warriors box set. Of course, that US price goes up if I can't find them at local retail and have to order them online.

Add the cost of Reprolabels to the mix. Ugh. Yeah. Takara might get my money here.

Where has everyone been? It seems like I've been paying $20 for Deluxes since Titans Returns began.

I'm surprised by the shock in this thread. :/

What other thread? I'd like to see that partially transformed picture.

Blimey, if people are this outraged about the deluxes costing $19.99, they'd probably prolapse a lung if they tried to buy them in the UK... ;)

Listen, I can go into my Target right now and buy a Titans Return Deluxe toy for ~$15.00.  Jumping $5 for essentially the same gimick that they did two years ago seems like a lot.  If you can accept that kind of increase go right ahead.  It may very well price me out, and that\'s okay.

I don't pay 20 bucks for Generations Deluxe figures.

    Nor will I.

There's an average of $16 after taxes at my Local Target, Walmart and TRU.

TRU was playing those $22 games for CW's a couple years ago and you didn't see me in TRU as a result. Even the Brainstorm Exclusive at Walgreen's was discounted when I bought it online. So if you're asking "Where I've been...?"

    I've been shopping wisely.

2008 is when that was the official MSRP. It's been almost a decade since then.

Honestly the whole 20 dollars for a Power of the Primes deluxe is flying over my head. I'll just end up paying whatever the price is for an entire wave on BBTS, don't know what the figures would cost when you divide out the combined total but still my point stands.

What? The prices of TLK figures preceded a price increase in the Generations line? Why that's never happened since the last time it happened during AoE.
