Take a close look at the head pictures; the first one, you can see the antenna just barely poking out from behind the head.

    Terrorcons are allergic to Primemasters.

Please save and circle the common parts, then repost.

To keep the terrorcons from attacking the guests. Candy corn makes them happy and docile.

That's certainly possible, my thinking was that they would be 5mm as all weapons in the CW and TR lines have been 5mm as far as I can recall.

I also agree that if the back weapons could be removed, we would have seen it officially. Then again, the official images of the Primemasters do not even show the Pretender shells closed, only open and in weapon configuration. So maybe there is more to be revealed.

    Remold Wars Strikes Back!

How many times can Hasbro repurpose a mold? Only John Warden knows.

None of those parts are identical. Some are very similar shapes because of the shared engineering, but all of the details/proportions/etc are different. It's new tooling.

Saying like Hun-Grr is a Silverbolt retool is like saying MPM-4 is a ROTF Prime retool because the legs transform similarly and look roughly the same in robot mode.

(For the record, I hate how Hun-Grr looks and can't believe they would choose to copy engineering from a figure so unsuited to the task. But my hatred doesn't make him a retool.)

Yeah, at most, Silverbolt and Hun-gurr share hands, hip joints, bicep swivels, and the inner piece to bring out the combined mode head.

Yeah. The parts aren't identical, but they are definitely retools of the same parts and the figures share the same basic engineering design.

asbro "designer" says that this is a 100% new mold, so it must be true!

I don't really care if the figure is a remould or not. I just want it now. :lol

Hun-gur isn’t a remold though it does appear to use the same basic design engineering wise.

Basically, all new parts, same general layout.

So as much as I’d like a set of Terrorcons, I’ll be skipping them as I don’t need them as characters on a shelf and the joy from playing with them will be greatly diminished from this design reuse.

It's a similar design, not a retool, unless most G1 Scramble city limbs were retools too.

Like how they said the clones were suppose to be an entirely new size class and definitely not legends sized at all.

Not sure I need a black rodimus (but I'm stupid so I'll probably buy him), but the leaders and legends seem to be the stars of POTP for me. I really don't have much interest in a return to combiner wars, but I will likely get the terrorcons as they look pretty damn good.

Pretty psyched about all the prime master's armors as well, though I'm probably gonna be swapping out the figure's "matrix" backs for faces.

I can see similarity in transformation into combined mode and silver bolt. It is cool how most parts are mew molded pieces though.
