    A) Because it's easier to repaint than to fully remould.
    B) Who even CARES about the bloody Machine Men?

    Aaaanyway personally I'm skeptical.

Those two will show up in WFC trilogy somewhere or after.
But if Selects does well, there are a bunch of extra decos that never found a home that could be done.

Selects is more about premium decos, not really much in the way of new tooling if at all. So future TR ones are extremely likely to get some of the TR headswap potentials out to market. Devcon, A3, and others.

If we're really lucky, it might grow to include some of the Taktom mall exclusives too with a timed release of some duration after. Or otherwise some form of teased redecos we've been seeing there. Right now it looks like major retailers are all in full WFC hype, but as shelf space demands increase because of sales, we could see some wider material make it to shelves. Right now, Selects looks like it may be more "direct market".

But how it grows is all dependent on sales and demand.

    A) What full remolding? It would only be a headswap.
    B) What makes you think a shitty Japanese non-character is worth more than a Gobot?

I just hope Stepper comes with a Targetmaster. I’m not expecting it and I already have one from the Stepper TT did a while back, but it’d be nice.

As for Dinoking and Monstructor, Dinoking is much more likely as we’ve seen Snarl with a Doryu like head gun. Alas, it’s unlikely we’d ever get Dairyu unless they do a Grotusque/Repugnus kind of remold and we wouldn’t have a two bot body anyways since they’d use Grimlock for Goryu.

Didn't we also see Cutthroat with a Firefly head? Did I hallucinate that? Monstructor seems like it'd have a popularity lead over Dinoking, but Hasbro really could go either way.

As to the Targetmaster, it's gotta be plausible. The three exclusives that came out *during* PotP all came w/Prime armor and masters, so exclusives coming out during Siege might have some sort of WFC compatibility. Red Swoop coming with a red/black Pteraxadon, for example, would be crazy dope.

Because there's been more Steppers than Crashers.

We did indeed see a Wildfly head on Cutthroat in the preview event painted proto pictures.

I seem to recall them teasing a red Swoop before the PoTP line really started, and they didn't repaint Jazz during the main line. So these two aren't a complete surprise. I never got around to opening Jazz, so Ricochet would be nice, and red Swoop is just a nice option.

As for other figures they could do in this line, Buster and Hydra would be easy and complete Starscream. Going from CW molds, shuttle Blast Off in G2 colors (which would properly complete the CW G2 Bruticus and also free that jet to serve Starscream's jet combiner along with regular CW jet Blast Off in place of Buster/Hydra for me). Ratchet! Don't really care exactly what incarnation they homage as long as it looks G1. Maybe a Prime Master set with armors. Re-release some of the Prime Masters from the Throne set and shells could be partial retools of existing ones. Not sure how many they could fit into a deluxe box/price point, but we could get a few. Bundle a couple of those with G2 Beachcomber... Or maybe reuse some of the Unite Warriors Technobot toolings that are so far unique to that set (Strafe and Nosecone mainly).

There was a different head on Cutthroat as well as a gunpiece mounted on Snarl. All hinting towards it down the line. But after that nothing.
Those are not a priority for me though.
What I want is the Seacons. And finish the "g1" scramble city line.

I do, you're well aware I do, and we've had RECENT threads where we've debated the fact that I do.

Well... don’t forget that Cutthroat and Swoop come from the same set of mold parts, so it could easily be for Yokuryu, who could use the Swoop tooling with that head since the inner robot had the same mold in G1.

But yes, that head could be used for both Wildfly and Yokuryu. Snarl’s head gun would only be used for Doryu, not Scowl.

Sideswipe from CW Sunny or Streetwise would be nice. It may be the intent of POTPSS it fill in gaps left in combiners, so we could be looking at a line of all deluxe limb-bots, and I'm ok with that.

He was red on the leaks and which, in his case, used the renders as seen on the cardbacks.

A red swoop was mentioned at hascon as a late line repack along with other possible redecoes which people generally assumed would be other dinobots
