Battletrap looks amazing, and I just know the eventual reprolabels set is going to crank him up to 11 and then rip the knob off. Can't wait to see what they do with him (I'm betting they include a weapon or two as well)

I can't help but think with some parts sharing, Hasbro could mix Elita and Starscream parts with a new head as Slipstream that could be really great.

    Anyway, two questions:

    1. Unless I'm missing something, it looks like the Matrix "handles", the frame around the core that comes with Optimus and the Rodimii can't actually be held by standard 5mm hand holes, am I mistaken?

    2. My more important question, and a bit of an odd one, is there any way to stack or peg together the Voyager feet or with a new hand to come up with something you could put against a wall as a wall sconce or a table/device type apparatus to "display" the Prime Core inserted into them? I'm thinking of something along the lines of the ZPM "table" in Stargate Atlantis, or like a fancy kiosk from Star Trek or the like, a sci-fi device showing the core inserted.

I like Czarscream. Or maybe Czarseeker is less derivative. Starseeker?
    Apexa for the Elita combiner.
Still up in the air on Inferno as he has zero team theme. Just a lone Jazz so far. Maybe Rook and AB could help him be a Protector?

It was a bit of a hack job... Took off his original head, then screwed through the plastic at just the right size to fit the Titan Master head securely while allowing it to still be removed.

Right, there isn't any way for the closed fist hands to hold the matrix that comes with OP and RP. If they had even the hands from CW Magnus and TR PMOP, they could probably do it. Even cutting off part of the frame doesn't look like it would work without also rounding off the sides of the frame.

That I have no idea about, as I took all the Prime Armor pieces and combiner feet and put them in a bag. Maybe someone that has theirs close by can help with this...

the matrixes are closed off...only open hands can properly grip them

the feet have a 5mm peg hole directly at the heel. so you could plug one into the peg meant to go in a limb so it stands up freely. but that might be the best you can do

Rook, Alpha Bravo, Prowl, and Jazz if you want, Sunstreaker for the Universe reference, Offroad for the Fun Pub(?) friends w/ AB, or Ironhide/Trailbreaker for the First Aid replacement with a legends Wreck-Gar chest plate.

....Right now when we play legends scale ( Insecticon horde aside) the 'Cons are vastly outnumbered overall but especially in cars and trucks I just have blackjack and use Octane because I feel like the truck cab dimensions really work for that scale, he is sort of a big boy in that pond that way too which is fun...incidentally TR Voyager Optimus is my " Legends" scale Optimus for the same reason and it works great but I digress. Once I get Battletrap, unless there is some glaring issue I cant live with I'm pretty sure I am going to army build the pair of guys as "vehicons" for cannon fodder for the 'Cons it will be cool that they can duo up into a Deluxiush sized guy. it would be AMAZING if an eventual Flywheels would work like the old G1 toys and be interchangeable with Battletrap so you could army build those as well and mix and match several varties of Vehicon deluxe duo-vehicon combiners from the 4 Legend Vehicon army builder... see I be planning ahead!.

With Inferno, I had considered naming him Firestormer, after the G2 team. I never got Sky Lynx, so Hound, Smokescreen, Wheeljack, and Trailbreaker will be going with him.

Any possibility of a Thundercracker, Wreck-Gar, Chromia and Sideswipe emerging from this line?

Rumoured, rumoured, maybe to go with Elita-1 and possibly as a Jazz retool.

That's w2 Legends, not w2 Deluxe, which haven't been seen in the UK yet.

W2 deluxe preorders at Kapow though: Power of the Primes - Transformers - Kapow Toys
