I saw the two deluxe dinos yesterday at tru, and man do they look nice! I didn't like triceratops head/collar in bot mode but it's kinda nifty in person. Swoop at this price is a work of art. Of course I left the $5 coupon I had at home, and they were a combined $7 more than they would cost me at Wal-Mart and the wallet was already so fatigued from the family already so I have to wait.

What's up with the two little holes in his waist? They're the right diameter for the smaller peg on his sword, but it doesn't actually fit there.

You dont force the legs, it is a twist motion.

Go to the 7:12 mark and you can see what I am talking about. Going to vehicle mode you just twist in reverse. Bring the leg in at about a 15 degree angle, touching the inner tab, twist, easy.

They're for the Takara figure stand that comes with Masterpiece Tracks and Loud Pedal. They also sold them separately for about $10 but they seem to be sold out everywhere but eBay. Most, but not all, new Transformers have a peg hole somewhere near their nethers now, for a stand that most people can only get from Asia. o_O  And they're fragile as fuck.

I noticed a rectangular post and slot in the forehead area and two smaller round holes in the front section but the posts had been broke off, and not in the holes, it looked like the posts had been broke off before assembly. And of course I got out the glue and dealt with it before remembering to take a picture :lol

It's mind boggling how the bootleg figma stand I've had for years at this point lasted longer than the one official Takara MP stand I got ahold of.

Almost thought Swoop was lifting MP Lambor in that shot.

I just got Slug the other day, great little figure. He looks so much better when you actually give him a neck. Being able to move his head left and right a bit and open his mouth slightly would've been nice, you can kinda make it open a bit between positions but not well. I also wish they had done something a bit different with his front legs as they are too long in dino mode and the result means he always has to have his legs at a 90 degree angle. I can over look these things though. Some people are bothered by the lack of wings in bot mode but I honestly have always thought they look kinda stupid, not to mention it seems more appropriate for Slug to have a bulky torso. Now the only dinobot I have left to find from this first wave is Grimlock, hopefully I'll be able to find one when I'm in Kansas City next week.

    This is very much correct.

Once you understand that twist motion, you can tab and untab it practically in slow motion, and with next to nothing force.

I can't say I appreciate too much yet, I got Dreadwind as mentioned and he sure is an aerial bot dressed up as a 'con and it's fine. I love the Primemasters, I finally have a Metalhawk of some sort in hands, but all my excitement is for Abominous. It's basically all I really have to have.

    Computron stands waiting...

Yeah, had to glue the front of Dreadwind's head back on.
