Sneak Preview: The Dinobots were a team of Legendary Warriors who land on Prehistoric Earth, Scanned Dinosaur modes and killed for survival(Cause of the Dinosaur's extinction).

Agree with all of these. BW Megatron being a retool of Grimlock does allow him to not only scale well with Primal when he's not in the suit but also works as a towering beast in combined mode to face off against Optimus Optimus.

Also him being the new villain for IDW is also good timing cause unlike IDw Megatron,BW Megatron was already such an evil a-hole for as long as we've heard of him which would make him quite a challenge for the IDW characters.

You know now that the original Megatron is stuck in the Functionalist universe, the IDW verse has no Megatron!

Enter Barney the Destructasaur to take the spot!

So, will Grimlock have his sword and rifle? Will Swoop have a gun? Will Perfect Effect do all the weapons for the Dinobots?

Not to be picky, but just wondering if Deluxe Slug, Swoop, Snarl and Sludge and Voyager Grimlock would be size accurate to other characters. Maybe if they were actual Dinosaur size.

Does anyone know if Micronus has a 5mm peg for his weapon mode? I can't seem to see one and don't know if I'm just being stupid.

Question regarding Slug: Does anyone know if the display model was a hand painted prototype or was it an actual factory production run figure. Reason I ask is that in "The Leak" there are 2 Slugs. Wave one Slug has a black (actually more of a charcoal grey) face and another release of the figure in Wave 4 with a silver face like Sludge/Snarl. A black face is accurate to the G1 figure (the US version anyways) and silver would be accurate to the G1 box art. Maybe this is another case of "Red vs. Blue Swoop"? I will get him either way, but I'm holding out hope for a silver face and that if the Hascon model was hand painted, that maybe whoever did that went from the Wave 1 fig and just painted the face black.

I hope at least one beast limb gets retooled into a Ankylosaurus Dinobot wthat fits in with the others. We're overdue for one.

Is it just me or does Hot Rod just look like Rodimus Prime. I know he's supposed to be Hot Rod and plug into the armor to become a Prime...but the head sculpt and the larger than deluxe sizing makes me think it's just Rodimus becoming a 'Powermaster Rodimus'. Looking at the pics it seems like the Hot Rod/Orion Pax figures are closer to voyager size....which would make me happy, given TR Galvatron needs someone roughly his size to fight.

Either Grimlock is too small (most likely) or Pax is a huge deluxe.

That Rodimus looks better every time I see it (and it never looked bad to begin with). It really looks like an MP figure. And, this might be insulting to say, it looks like a Takara edition too.

I still like voyager Starscream but the figure would be so much better with increased/improved paint apps. Here's hoping Takara makes a version with a better deco.

I agree , hot rod looks good ..evolved rodimis looks like he's carrying too much baggage though.
Starscream looks great in his grey model , the painted version is ... not that great . I used to hate it but I'm coming around the idea if the paint gets better for the Takara's take

As l am not a huge HotRod fan, this PotP version will fit nicely on my MP shelf. Good job Hasbro!

I just hope they explain how there are multiple Enigma of Combination: Grimlock comes with one, Starscream too

I also wonder what Takara will do for the clear bits on the dinobots; it's not like that was shown in the cartoon. Wonder if they will cast those in opaque plastic where they can and remold the pieces where it looks like they are just painted on the inside.

I speculate they will redo the Dino heads for some of them if they go the toon route ... Snarl, Sludge, and Slag specifically....
