I just hope they explain how there are multiple Enigma of Combination: Grimlock comes with one, Starscream too

 

well that's a enigma.

 

I also wonder what Takara will do for the clear bits on the dinobots; it's not like that was shown in the cartoon. Wonder if they will cast those in opaque plastic where they can and remold the pieces where it looks like they are just painted on the inside.

 

I speculate they will redo the Dino heads for some of them if they go the toon route ... Snarl, Sludge, and Slag specifically....

 

Speaking of Dinobots I'm actually hoping we can get a Voyager G1 styled Scorn later in Generations if not in POTP to go with Slash. In fact if they did at least a box set featuring him and other Dinobot limbs I'll be fine with it.

Voyager Scorn. (either new mold or heavy retool of POTP Grimlock.)

Deluxe IDW Dinobot Strafe (Retool of POTP Sinnertwin.)

Deluxe Slapper (Retool of POTP Snarl which homages the Armada repaint of Bazooka from BW2/BWNeo.)

Deluxe Slam (Retool of POTP Rippersnapper and homages the Beast Machines repaint of BW Hardhead called Dinotron.)

Deluxe Sledge (Retool of POTP Slug and homages the Armada repaint of Sling from BW Sludge.)


Their combined form can be called Pyro Rex and the head homages the movie Scorn helmet.

 

Does anyone plan on using the titans return clobber and ptero as targetmasters for volcanicus? They can double as the baby dinobots from the last knight

Pretty much. I plan to give Swoop's sword to Grimlock anyway. If only they repacked Clobber though however...

 

I think l have all the G1 Dinobots swords and guns stashed away. Good to know they will come in handy!

Now to make a suitable sword for Volcanicus

I need to track down Swoops missile launchers and missiles ....hmmmm

 

Well, now I probably will. I have those Junkion Blacksmith sword packs (only in blue, sadly) that I might give to Volcanicus, too. Well, you know, until PE, Renderform, or Dr Wu make a dope ass set of melee weapons

 

Throw nonnef into that potential list as well

 

Another one could be Paddles, a retool from Deluxe POTP Sludge

 

Sounds like the perfect Walgreens exclusive.  

BTW, we still do have that listing for a deluxe Wreck-Gar. I'm really anxious to see what that turns out to be. I think it's a new bike mold that could be retooled into Chromia.

Honestly I was a little skeptical but I just sat pictures of Grimlock and the dinobot along with Optimus Prime and I'm a little excited.

 

ok leader potp optimus is awesome but i kinda hope after prime wars ends we get a awesome voyager g1 optimus cause we have had optimus a t pretty much every scale but none of them had a perfect g1 design i know there is ko mp10 but i wsh hasbro would make it happen sometime

 

This is one of my wants too. I do like CW Optimus, its a shame the alt mode is so funky looking...

 

Some people have pointed out that the sword and feet designs were taken from the MMC one.

And I just remembered, if you have the RID Tricerashot Mini-Con Weaponizer, you pretty much have all the Baby Dinobots accounted for.

I'm tempted to use the POTP Leader Optimus to replace my TR Powermaster one. It's obviously just G1 Prime, but the whole reason I like Powermaster Optimus (aside from Ginrai) is the smaller bot combining with the trailer to become a bigger one. I'm still not too happy with how Pax forms the cab, but if someone made a shapeways Prime head for Pax, I think it would be a cheaper alternative to Takara's Super Ginrai with the PC-15 and PC-16 upgrades.

At least I much prefer the trailer this time around, as it's much more solid and filled in than PMOP's was. I also like that his forearms aren't completely visibly hollow. It just unfortunately goes to show that they should have waited until POTP to make Powermaster Optimus, since they could have completely molded him from scratch, and he would have had a good Prime inner robot that probably would have made for a cleaner truck cab mode.

Oh well.
