I have tfx protector and I'm still in for this new Rodimus. It will be more fun to play with and more playable I think.

I would cut Jazz a little slack, considering that he's up against the perfect RTS Jazz and is a combiner limb, I'd say that he's pretty good for what he is.

The combining gimmick does kinda fit into this line, as one of the Primes (Nexus Prime) was a combiner, wasn't he? I'm just curious as to what other Prime-related functionality will be incorporated into PotP.. I'm still crossing my fingers for beast combiners and Snapdragon/Apeface!

I have a feeling if the stickers aren't crap he may actually be a little better than RTS version, but still pales in the shadow of United Jazz.

That said, in spit of owning the the two I might get this one as well.

You can cut jazz even more slack when you realise it's Pretender Jazz, ....but slack removed if those are stickers on his chest.

Speaking of which did anyone ask about stickers during sdcc? I want to tell them, it's a good way to have me buy Takara's.

We've seen before where they use painted samples with stickers to represent what will be painted details on the final product.

This is just a theory on starscream.
If you notice all of the deluxe figures incorporate CW pegs but no gun hand foot.

What if the reason starscream has such big feet and arms is because they can come off and become the hands and feet for the possible combined mode.

They actually do come with HFGs, it's the "armor" they come with that the Prime Master stuff plugs into. The deluxes come with what look like modified HFGs while the voyagers come with ankle tilt parts. They haven't showed these off properly yet because they're saving it as a surprise for Hascon.

given all the stickers we got in TR, id wager thats the direction Hasbro is headed. Yet another reason why I'll wait for Takaras version.

The Pretender shells being brought back like this is kinda neat. I'm excited to see Takara release their versions as the characters from Masterforce. Would love to get updates for Dauros, Blood and Gilmer!

So last time we got some stickers on voyagers right? But Hasbro also starting doing foil stamps too, which look like stickers.

I would not be surprised to see their US counterparts in PotP. There are not a lot of high profile Pretenders. We know we're getting Skullgrin, I'm sure Bludgeon is going to be in the line up I'm sure we'll get Bomb-Burst and Submarauder too. After that it's a batter of finding some Autobot Pretenders that are different enough from each other. For the Autobots Splashdown is a good pick with his shark chest, then Jamie "Longtooth" Hyneman. Given Takara's involvement I'll eat my hat if we don't see Metalhawk. That's seven that I'm 90% sure will be made leaving five more spots to be filled.

Something like Bendy Prime, but with a trailer? Sounds both somewhat likely and promising. I had the [ 'Galaxy Force'?] repaint of Bendy, and despite the fact that I love the damn thing, I felt that the lack of a trailer seriously hindered its excellence.

I like the RTS one a lot. The new one looks good too. I might not buy him, but to each their own.

If they get into Armada, Demolishor/Cyclonus would be great.
