Saga's End - Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy | go90
this episode is very laggy at this time,
so far more combiner death,
more cheap animation tricks to save on animating stuff,
and that sound effect found in Pocket God (when you increase the sun's size) is back with the well of allsparks
and Grimlock acts in self preservation mode "Me grimlock not sure if bright light means we run or hide"
and I expected Optimus primal to beat the evil of rodimus,
they said the line, "No one summons megatron"
other stuff happens
and at the end? Starscream shows up
What? It ends like that? Ugh
Somewhere out there, Slingshot is screaming internally that we had a happy ending.
I am honestly not expecting that ending.
I was not expecting Hot Rod to survive. Megatron to die again. Starscream to show up.
I honestly did like Solus Prime and her bit.
Well despite how the saga on Machinema ended it was awesome to see Optimus Prime and Primal be side by side at the end. Great way to acknowledge both eras.
For International Viewers It's The End, but the moment has been prepared for on Tumblr
Transformers Prime Wars - Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy S3:E10 Saga’s End...
I've just been reading the summaries on tfwiki instead of watching the episodes, can someone tell me what happened this episode?
Read the spoiler tags. The summary will come out later in the day. Most of us can not talk about it right now because it will spoil it for others.
So now that the dumpster fire's out, how do we keep warm?
They will write more
i know i didn't actually waste my life watching this. because most likely i would have been on the couch doing something else if not for this. but that is how i feel about the whole 3 part series. what a complete waste of time and i sad reminder of how far the transformers brand has fallen. i am just glad it is over.
Dammit...they killed Sludge, and didn’t even bring him back.
Why no one like Sludge?
Spoiler: MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!
I expected Solus to be angry at Megatronus for his actions, but I never thought she would be the one to kill him. That was a welcome surprise, though the way it happens is kind of... confusing and weird.
And what happens to Megatron... I had a feeling he would either become a Prime or sacrifice himself to save the day, and I was hoping it wouldn't be the latter. He was one of the few positive aspects of this trilogy, and it was heartbreaking to see him go out like that. What's even worse is that he didn't live long enough to see Optimus Prime's return. R.I.P. Prime Wars Megatron, one of the most enjoyable incarnations of the Decepticon leader to date.
Optimus Prime, how did I not see your resurrection coming? How did you get all the way there when your corpse was supposedly on the other side of the planet? And lastly, if you had to come back, couldn't you have at least done it a few minutes earlier so you could share one last moment with Megatron? Seriously, just imagine how amazing that could have been. Seeing Megatron in absolute awe at his rival's return, Optimus hearing about Megatron's leadership and heroism, the two former enemies shaking hands as friends, and then Megatron's demise, followed by a eulogy from Prime? That would have made my list of the Top 10, perhaps even Top 5 most emotional Transformers moments of all time.
And that ending... seriously, they just had to end it like that? I was wondering what happened to Starscream's ghost after he left Trypticon, and now we know he's still around, plotting who knows what? This is very worrying for two reasons: 1) If this is truly the end of this continuity, then that means this cliffhanger will never be resolved and we'll never know what he's up too. Too many of my favorite series end like that, and now even the ones I only partially enjoy are doing it? Give me a break. 2) If Machinima chose to end the series on a cliffhanger instead of bothering to tie up loose ends, that could be a hint that they plan on making even more of this garbage.
As much as we don't want that to be the case, it is possible. After all, Hasbro did announce that we'll be getting a second Generations trilogy starting with War for Cybertron. I wouldn't be surprised if they thought there should be a cartoon to go with it, seeing as how their last trilogy had one. If that does happen, then let's hope Machinima learns from their previous mistakes and gives something even remotely good.
I’m a little sour at the odds for Cyberverse. I’m still gunna watch it for Slipstream, if nothing else. But, Boulder Media isn’t just a bunch of interns, right? There’s a glint of hope, maybe?
While the Primes Trilogy is not as bad as Wizard Barristers, few things can be, and I hope to avoid putting myself through that level of sloppiness and mismanagement.
And, HasTak need to sell the next MP OP, @TLK Barricade, besides not wanting to terrify children with the concept of object permanence.
The Mass Effect ending slides were a bit.....much and quite unearned.
Sludge is sadly the Yamcha of Dinobots.
While far from ideal, I enjoyed this entire series for what it was: a short, ten minutes a pop web series with the low production values one would expect from such, along the lines of Star Wars Forces of Destiny. I got to see
Prime & Primal together, and Primal become a Prime.
