I'm liking ... I'm double dipping on Hasbro and eventual Takara.

I hope the first/mass Swoop release by Hasbro is the strict G1 toy Red deco.

We are in 2017 and Hasbro still doesn't use a proper elbow joint for the combine mode...

It's Hasbro. By now we all know they have no clue how to transform their own toys.

Dude. Just use the damn HFG adapter that belongs to the combiner limb you are replacing and use the dedicated Dino foot with the blasted Dino combiner, just like any CW combiner. It's not that fucking hard. No one had this problem with Computron or Victorion.....

I'm very excited for PoTP! Can't wait to get these guys in my hands!

    Calm your tits, bro.

I'm disappointed in the change because I loved the hot-swap nature of the CW limbs. This change doesn't stop me from buying anything (which should be clear from my history of posting in CW/PotP threads), I'm just bummed that one of my favorite parts of the whole scramble nature of the CW figures is going away.

(Also, that annoyed me about Victorion and Computron as well. Even with the awesomeness that was the hands/feet in those sets.)

I like the idea of dedicated feet. The HFGs made decent hands but weird feet (imo). I ended up using the Perfect Effect ones in the end.

yeah, hfg's were awesome because if they can't bother to make the combiners not partsform at least they had 3 different uses. i picked up a spare combaticon hfg set for my victorion.

Just a personal taste, but I wish Swoop's wings detached and plugged onto the back (would look awesome and cover the actual back), and I feel like there's a missed opportunity with the combined head. Like it's Grimlock! Why doesn't his combined mode have his crown?

Other than that, I'm actually excited for this, and will totally be buying all of them.

Probably because Starscream has a crown in his combined mode already.

This might be a stupid question, but the Combined mode feet are with Grimlock and the other four come with the Combine Mode hands, is that right?

That...doesn't look good. The individual figures looked alright, but dang, that is not one to combine.

I'm actually very sure the deluxe hands can still transform into feet. Look at the very first picture of the article, it shows both a loose hand and one attached to the arm. Looks like it still has the fold-out fingers, as well as two fold-out thumbs on both sides and a new peg that can be rotated up.

Not saying it will look perfect together with the regular HFGs, but seems possible...

The hands combine with the (tiny) feet to be stable.

Just realized what his combined mode head reminds me of...

Looks more like kickback and grimlock did a fusion dance.

It looks terrible. My son is stoked, so I'll still buy it. But the antennae and the Grimlock arms sticking up, plus the whole shoulder thing it has going on are just awful looking.
