Are they Movieverse or Classics transformers? Would they fit in with your movie collection or CHUG stuff? Why do you believe so?

They are pcc figures to me. They don't seem to fit in with either of your choices.

Yo, I had a thread just like this a few days ago...

I think of them as a hybrid. Then again, all I have is Sledge, who is an awesome Constructicon.

they fit where you want them to fit. the thing i always loved about transformers is a robot can look like anything, so i've never bothered with segragating them. if i like it, i buy it, and it then fits with my collection.

I don't put them in my Classics collection. They're a mix of both, but they look slightly more movieish.

I put them in my movie collection, in that, I don't really collect either.

I will probably pick some up later, on the cheap, just to fiddle with.

They Powecore robots on there own seem closer to the classic aesthetics. Smooth and chunky with good paint detail.

A lot of the 2010 molds (as well as most the RotF Scouts) have a "could be either Classics or Movieverse" look to them, PCCs no exception. They've got the crazy amounts of mechanical detailing of the Movies, but the typical humanoid build/faces of Classics.

Sledge, Steamhammer, and Dirtboss go well enough with the Constructicons, but they're noticeably "normal."

On the other hand, they're probably too detailed to go with the likes of RtS Grapple or Cybertron Quickmix.

On the other hand, people have been using Heavytread as a Classics Brawl and even got him to fit with the combining Combaticons.

Yes, this post is entirely copy-pasted from the http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...n/549860-what-aesthetics-do-pcc-follow-2.html thread.

I consider them Classics. At least, I feel like they're closer to Classics than anything else.

I think they go well with Legends and Cyberverse figures (either G1-ish or Bayverse, pick your poison). Outside of that, they're somewhat odd (but still cool) ducks.

Smolder is officially movieverse according to Cyber Missions. And Sledge makes a good Movie Constructicon.

This. They're all one big, happy family. Except for the whole Decepticons-want-to-kill-everyone thing. We're still working on that.

I think it's more of a case of them piggybacking on Movieverse advertising than actually being part of it. Huffer ties PCC to Classics just as much as Salvage does. Plus, that one novel came out a year after Bombshock did.

They're a kind of grey area. As has been pointed out some of the figures have bios that lean towards Bayverse, but some have bios that lean towards G1 (Huffer). As far as aesthetics go I tend to see them as being closer to G1 or the Unicron Trilogy than Bayverse.

I don't really consider them movieverse as they don't share the same design aspects of movieverse transformers. However, I wouldn't say they're really Classicsverse either. About the only one I'm willing to put in as Classics is Heavytread. With a simple insignia switch, he's undoubtedly Brawl.

Nice pic. Sledge is basically the only PCC that I have and like. Icepick and Huffer are ok. Too small.
