Just got him in retail yesterday and to my surprise he is really fun. I told myself not to fall for PCCs after seeing Smolder, but Huffer looks kinda neat in bot mode, that is why I picked him up.

Here are the pics I took at the shopping mall the moment I got him.

Sorry for the pic quality, I was using my cellphone.

Anyways, once I got home, I took some clearer pics of him.

Huffer: He is well molded with alot of detailing. I think he can fit in nicely in the WFC line. The transformation is simple but yet satisfying. He makes a good desk toy. Something for your fingers to fiddle on when you are not doing anything.

His articulation is not bad. He has ball joints in most places, except his hips. His head is a front and back swivel joint which allows him to look up slightly and look down (Just like classics Optimus)

His color looks good and the yellow is kinda like Swindle yellow and not too bright. Overall a nice figure and value for money.

Caliburst: What is there to say? He is a minicon, but a nicely sculpted one. I am never into minicons so my opinion might be biased here. But I just adore the clear blue plastic here.

The paint apps here are surprisingly good. I expect Hasbro to skimp on the silver and just leave the dull gray plastic alone, but they actually painted the shoulder joints silver, a little bonus here.

    PCC Mode:
Like many had said, his head looks like Menasor from the Stunticons. The mold is quite detailed and you can see some very small mechanical parts around his lips and chin.

If you are interested to know how he will eventually look like when combined, here is a snapshot of the instruction.

Overall - This was an impulse purchase, I expected less, but got a little more. :D

Great review! Can't wait to pick this guy up. How sweet it must have been to see pegs FULL of new product, I would love to see a pic of that! It might hold me over until they hit the states.....might.

This is the only PCC I want. I really like the proportions on this figure. Too bad he doesn't really have any feet. Any chance of a pic with Classics Bumblebee?

like this guy, the proportions amuse me and I like the tiny feet. He may be the only pcc I get, though I may end up grabbing one of the sets with the limbs just to try them out. Also, I think a custom trailer that turned into new arm and leg attachments to replace the pcc combiner limbs would work really well with this guy.

    Thanks my good man! :thumb

As you can probably tell, Huffer will be going on my Henkei shelf. Bumblebee's a head shorter than Rodimus. Looks like he'll be a great fit.

Holy shit, his combiner head is badass. So is Caliburst in his weapon modes. Bought on sight.

    Great review. :thumb

Thanks for the review. Huffer looks ok. Still not sure if I want to pick up any of the PCC.

Out of all of the PCCs, Huffer is the only one I have interest in. I'll probably get him and give Caliburst to Energon Slugslinger. Thanks for the review!

OK, with that super mode head, if Hasbro doesn't do a Stunticon repaint, something's wrong with them.

I was just thinking the same thing. That is quite clearly a menasor head design.

Yeah, put me in the crowd of people who are getting this as their only PCC figure. But even then I'm not sure I want to get him, in fear of him having a gateway drug effect into the PCC line. :p

So I guess PCC line will be getting Huffer repainted as Motormaster. Not interested in the combining gimmick myself but I have been eyeing Huffer for my Class/verse collection.

I was thinking of doing that, but Huffer is such a better toy than Slugslinger that I probably won't bother moving him :p

Add me to the list for Huffer! Not really interested in the rest of the PCCs but Huffer has something goin' on for me. I like that the combining kibble is pretty well hidden in bot mode, unlike Smolder. Bought on sight!

Yeah I agree. It's too bad to. If Smolder could hide away his "power cores" I might have been interested in picking him up.

I've got in front me now, and he's a very neat little toy, although he doesn't really project a Huffer vibe. I don't know what it is... he's almost lankily proportioned (legs are quite long relatively).

Still, a great toy, worth a buy even if you're not going for the combination gimmicks.

Ah yes that's who he reminds me of, Energon Landmine, specifically the inner bot, Same colours, reasonably similar head, and it's possible to give Huffer a brute mode (distinct from the PCC mode)

He looks more like SWINDLE than HUFFER.

as it stands I'm sick of bots having hands that are confined by kibble. :(
