So I decided to to give POTP Prime a go at customising. Now similar to the Starscream I did, I wanted to do the panel lines and add some wear to him - sort of battle worn over time appearance. Anyhow I think he came out pretty well. I'm going to do the same to Orion Pax inside him now, as was originally going to leave him as Optimus on my shelf.

I did all this with nothing more than a few Gundam markers, a sculpting blade and makeup sponge. Let us know what you all think

Can you describe your process a little bit? Do you just use the marker and then spread it with the sponge?

Began by using the Black Fine tip marker to do base outlines and initial detailing. Once I had done that, I then used the dark metal marker and dabbed on area's around the figure while using the sponge to rub the ink in to give a metal worn look. After doing this a few time, I then used the brown marker and did the same to look like rusted area's. The sculpt blade was used on the face mask and other area's - afterwards I then inked those area's to add more depth. Hope this helps :)

Edit your first post, go to advanced options and re-up your photos, taking care to make sure that the one you want as your thumbnail is the first photo you do. It's a lot easier if you use the "insert as" function because you can click "insert all as photos" and it'll do it while also making them automatically thumbnails, hence the first pic being the one you see on the main page in the Radicons section.

Fantastic work by the way. Truly inspired.
