I can comment...the head is resized and also slightly restyled for the chest cavity of POTP SS.
So the ball joint is the same size?
Ball joint is the same size. However the Leozack head is a bit too big to go into the chest cavity. Some modding is required to do so.
The combiner head however will fit.
Wow, that is just great, that is the way to do Liokaiser
That looks perfect!
When you start mixing paints, you're already a bad-ass. Great paint job!! But your Leozack now makes Killbison and Drillhorn look like cheap KOs.
I think that's more of a slight against Hasbro and their current design choices then anything. I could totally see Takara doing something like this once upon a time (but with less paint and probably color molded plastics in most places instead).
Well, fuck. You and the other dudes who have done this just made me order a POTP SS. lol
The last straw was that Amazon has him with Prime shipping for a little over $17.
I mean what beautiful part of earth do you live in?
This is excellent!
The only improvement I can think of is replacing the wings to be a bit more g1 accurate
Did you get the Medium sized Leo Head, or the Small? You're link takes you to the Medium sized, so I assume that's the right one?
Awesome! I need to make one of these. But I'll probably never get to it.
Same. I got the starscream in preparation for it but haven’t started.
I noticed those listing don't offer Black Hi-Def Acrylic, now there is Versatile Plastic & Fine Detail Plastic. Are these new? I never saw them before.
I have a ton of custom projects piling up. I just got a new airbrush compressor & mold rubber to cast parts. Now I just need to replace my old worn out Dremel.
Unfortunately shapeways no longer offer black highdef acrylic plastic. The other two are just new names of WSF and FUD/FED
Yeah shapeways changed the names of the materials they used. I don’t know why.
I bought some unusable heads a long time ago. They totally sucked. They were that rough powder crap. I've been afraid to order from Shapeways ever since. I've been looking at other people's customs & I still don't like the quality.
Probably avoid getting ones like that. Unless you want to take the time and smooth them out.
Separate names with a comma.
