hey duders, just a heads up - POTC3 toys are out here in the SEA. i missed out on the preview figs but got the 1st wave, most of it. got gibbs, marty (this dwarf guy is everywhere, is he warwick davis or sumin?) with jack the monkey, ad. norrington and sao feng. no barbosa yet. ARGH! besides the 3 3/4 figs, zizzle also have: - 12" figs. i think theyre 12". maybe 10". i dunno. (chks inside pants) - 6 (or maybe 8") scale battling figs. - teeny weeny non poseable figures. think SW unleashed, abt 3-4 figs per pack. - props and playset. a reissue of the previous ultimate black pearl playset. - small versions of the ships, 2 reissue (black pearl and flying dutchman) and sao fengs ship, the empress. will post pics. laters! edit: oh man zizzles site is not helpful at all, theyve got wave 2 and 3 of POTCDMC listed, which were never released
Hmm. I've been seeing these for at least 2-3 weeks here at my Podunky W*M. Surprised they're just now popping up in Asia. The only things I've shelled out for, PotC-toy-wise, are the 2 DMC MegaBloks mini-sets. They're pretty cool. I've considered some of the 3-3/4"-ish scale figures a few times, but the paint apps usually look pretty bad, so I've passed. And there's really no excuse for how lacking in articulation the 7"-ish figures are.
