I thought it'd be fun to share our greatest find, or best deals of our Transformers collection. Whether it's in a store, online, or hidden in your attic; lets hear your greatest finds! Here is mine: I was visiting my family in Denmark some years ago. While window shopping in a town called Esbjerg; my Brother and I (both vintage toy collectors) were amazed when we seen a large display window packed with packaged GI Joes, Transformers, and other toys. We went into the store; which was run by an elderly man who didn't speak any english; and found shelves and shelves of early 80's toys selling for normal retail prices! It turned out that he has run that shop for decades and had much of his original stock. In Denmark, the residents were not aware to the value of the vintage toys so his shop was consdiered 'old Junk'. I ended up purchasing around 20 MISB MOSC G1 Transformers from him; and after getting our Uncle to translate for us and know him; he allowed us into his basement which contained MINT original wooden lego sets, and boxed Tinker toys. My brother purchased many of these for incredible deals. We still have everything we purchased today! This was what really started me off on collecting G1 Transformers and I have since gotten many more. Though never THAT cheap!!! Share your deals!
Scored my Laser Prime and RID Scourge, both 100% complete and in excellent condition, for 35 bucks off of Ebay. Just got lucky and no one bid on it.
I found 2 G1 jetfires at a thrift store for $2 and $3. The $3 one is in really good shape but no accessories
Greatest Find: Getting a bag with several BW and one BM figure in it for $10 at a thrift store. Best Deal: G1 Astrotrain for free thanks to one of my brother's old teachers.
When an awesome shop called David Morgans used to be in Cardiff, I went there during the days of Armada and found they had a toy sale. Every Minicon 3 pack was £3 including the original Star Saber Team, and I left with about 10 packs of Minicons. Since i've now found out none of those MiniCon moulds exist any more, and that Minicons used to retail at £7-£8 a pop, that was quite the deal..
This custom from eBay. I sniped at the last second with a maximum bid of £72, and I won it for £40. It's made from two Leader Class figures, with Voyager Megatron and WFC Megatron items melded on. It's a super job and I keep annoying people by telling them about it. XD
I remember getting TM2 Cheetor at Value Village for 2.99 with BW Razorclaw (crab) BW 10th Rhinox at Zellers in late 2007 for $10

Classics ultra Magnus and skywarp for 5 bucks. Armada unicron for 10 bucks. Rotf superion and bruticus each for 8 dollars. Classics onslaught for 8 dollars. Classics inferno for 5 dollars. All those were bought new at target. A henkie megatron shipped for 28 bucks on eBay.
