Beautiful pics. I've been meaning to pick up Eligos for a while now, and this may have just pushed me over the edge. :)

You will enjoy it. The 90s-era CG animation is a bit rough in S1 (but gets much better in S2 and S3), but the story and characters are top-notch. The G1 cameos are the icing on the cake. :D

Got this a few days ago, the elusive Chaos on Velocitron set from Amazon. The box is beat up, and there's a big gash on the front, but I'm an opener, so I don't care. :)

Long Island's got shit for movie toys(post wave one, I think that Voyager Grimlock has become one of my least favorite toys ever because of how frequently I see it), but Targets are fantastic for TR. They had the Wave Four Deluxes-but not just a few..at least two of every one besides Krok and Quake. I recommended Quake to a curious family, so naturally, I picked the poor Scavenger up.

The joints are tight and plentiful, the sculpt and paint are glorious, and it just feels awfully satisfying to have a Krok. If I see one more full peg of W1 Movie toys I'm gonna absolutely go absolutely goddamn ballistic. I've had the chance to play with all of them, and BB and Slash are cancerous. My younger cousin bought the Deluxe Bee, and his parents thought that it was defective. I fixed it, but even the little guy concluded that it was crap. I literally gave him Slash. Even though that piece of garbage costed me nothing, I still feel like I got robbed. Moral of the story: buy Nitro and Squeeks online.

Man, just ordered, I can't wait! Too bad it's just DVDs and not BR... (I feel weird for complaining as not too long ago I remembered pounding my fists on the table proclaiming DVDs were TEH FEWTURE when VHS was being phased out).

Yeah, I've been upgrading DVDs with Blu-rays for years now, but I think we'll be waiting a while for TF toons in high-def (with the exception of the 86 movie). I stream movies and TV shows on Netflix, but I'm old school, I still like physical media for stuff I really care about and know I'm going to watch over and over. Of course, now the studios are trying to get us to upgrade to 4K Ultra HD. It never ends.

How does this mold still hold together, in outright defiance of god's will.

It is also the eighth of nine uses of the mold. If Rippersnapper's not the most redecoed non-seeker of all time, he's definitely a contender. He might even give the seekers a run for their money.

I am exactly like this. I will always prefer physical media over digital streaming. I feel there's some kinda tangible connection between the media and having it in my hands. Either that or I like seeing shiny reflections and colorful printing on discs.

Issue I have with Netflix et al (and I do have subscriptions to a few of these) is that at any time and with no warning my shows can just up and disappear.

I'm with you, brother. I'm just a collector at heart, I guess. Or maybe a packrat (and I don't mean the Beast Wars character).

Yeah, that's my beef with it too. But like it or not, streaming is the future.

THIS. I can't stand it when they pull the shows from the libraries without warning. Usually for Netflix produced shows they'll keep stuff running but for more obscure series, it leads me to binge watch which I'm not keen on doing (I feel that compressing the show robs me of appreciating the writing, direction and acting in each episode).

Got this set from Amazon a few days ago. Good thing I'm not a MISB collector!

Thanks! The Bumblebee and Sideswipe Dark of the Moon stunt cars were at the local GM plant right before the movie came out. I work in radio and we were the media tie-in for the event so the guy handling the cars let me hop in Sideswipe. There actually wasn't a seat, it was more like a bucket with a seatbelt to sit on. The guy was telling me the stunt drivers have their own seats custom made for their body, which is why there wasn't an actual seat in there at the time of display.
