I've read all of Out of the Dead Land thus far and it's great. Can anyone recommend any other good ones to check out while I'm waiting for updates? There was another I somewhat liked (can't remember the title) but it was very "fourth-wall-y", where the Transformers knew they were toys and the way the Decepticons were winning was by misrouting shipments. Not bad, just not my thing. I have no problem imagining somebody's rug as another world; Transformers Toy Story just doesn't do the same thing.

Warring at play is another good one.

There was the original serious comic that takes place right after Beast Machines. The story ended but it was long running and amazing.

Obsidian's Lament was what it was called. If its still around you will enjoy it. I think the guy who did it is an actual writer and it showed.

That would be Warring at Play; it's still going on.

We're currently having our annual awards over there, browsing the poll threads can give you a nice overview of the Funnies. The "Best Serious/Funny/New" poll is going to start in about a week.

I highly recommend Warring At Play.

Other comics I recommend -- Transdudes, Grimlock_13's Attempt at Funnies, Hearts of Plastic, Megatrons Anonymous, Autobus Prime's Blurry Robot Theater, Comic Fluff, The Rather Small Comics, Sharkticomics...

Oh what the heck... you should just start reading all of the comics there are in the Funnies, you're bound to find something that tickles your fancy. I know when I first started reading the Funnies, I read a whole bunch of them and to this day, I'm still addicted to reading them, finding myself reading some of the newer ones that have started within the past year up to the present day. xD

Yes, Warring at Play is absolutely brilliant! It's a great story, and the effects are astounding.

And G13's attempt at funnies are some of the best things out there.

And Saberfrost's attempt at funnies as well. That's another good one.

I think some of you need to read The Screamer Life.

I've heard good things about that "Happy Hour" one, but it's a little too...lowbrow...for my taste. I'm not a fan of alcohol or the kind of underhanded behavior that guy likes to extol.

I'm a bit skeptical, maybe it's just my sense of humor, but i don't really find the funnies all that...funny...

As you have read Out of the Dead Land (fantastic comic) I highly recommend Transformers: Retribution. It is nothing short of brilliant and you will not be disappointed.

    It's definitely around: Obsidian's Lament - Transformers Fan Art - TFW2005.COM

    :D

It's illustration-based enough that I felt it worked well with our Sequentials Galleries in Fan Art.
