I bet the chances are very... very high. whats everyone else's opinion?
I guess it has a chance just like every other move that's coming out between now and 6.26.09
Considering QOS opens next week and there hasn't been any whisper whatsoever about a teaser trailer possibly being attached to it (or any other movie), I'd suggest that you don't hold your breath.
I think the more likely choices will be Wolverine, maybe Watchmen, maybe Friday The 13th, definitely Terminator Salvation, probably Star Trek, and maybe even the new Hellraiser (assuming it actually makes it to theaters).
An extra reason for me to go see it then (if true)!
Those movies are still a long time away - there needs to be a small teaser before Christmas. And if the trailer was going to be before James Bond, they would have let us know by now.
I think the best bet right now is The Day The Earth Stood Still in December.
There was no teaser before it in the UK...maybe you Yanks will get one, maybe not.
Not surprising though - the UK didnt get the trailer for Startrek either - and that is definately rumoured to be going out with the QOS US release.
Well, I just got back from watching Quantum of Solace (it opened on Nov 6th in my country) and unfortunately, there was no Transformers teaser before it.
Not a lot of big films between now and the end of the year so if it's not with Bond then I guess The Day The Earth Stood Still is about the only other one that fits. I mean I think Bolt is going to do really well being a Pixar film, but I'd see them putting the trailer before a movie with some teen appeal since they would be a larger buzz maker than younger kids.
*cough* it's actually the Disney animation studio, not Pixar *cough*
You'll see the trailer on-line before you see it in front of any movies. Recently, I have yet to see a trailer in the movie theater that I haven't already seen on-line. When the first Transformers movie came out, we got the first trailer Dec, 2006. I would guess we would see something similar for the sequel.
I've heard multiple rumors that indicate it'll first be attached to Twilight. The timing's right, (Nov 21) and apparently that will be a big stupid date movie for teens, so the audiance is about right as well. If it's not with Twilight, well, I guess it'll have to be Day the Earth Stood Still.
Maybe End of this month.
Maybe Twilight, since Fox has attached the Wolverine trailer to The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Wouldn't it make sense to attach it to Quantum though since its an action film which is what Transformers is mostly?
Good point. Teens being so much better connected with their social networks compared to older or younger movie fans then Twilight might be a good fit for the teaser trailer.
Glad you can catch trailers on the net for the rest of us
But... Twilight is gonna suck.. It's an over used storyline staring generic(fugly) actor#1 and also staring generic actress#2
don't tell that to twilight fans, they'll murder you. tf fans got nothing on these whackos
your most likely right, the 14-17 year old generation right now has no taste at all... i mean look at HSM's... and now Twilight... I wish they would mass produce the seasons of G1 on dvd agian so that said generation can be introduced to the true transformers and not the garbage that is energon/cybertron/animated.. well, animated isnt that bad..
