Courtesy of TFCN (Though actual source is unknown by now) A familiar-looking image from DOTM (which is the last area Sentinel fought Optimus Prime), which hints a backdrop for a possible release of the Studio Series Sentinel Prime figure.

According to Planet Iacon - Singapore Transformers Fans Unite (STFU), they posted a leaked picture of an Optimus Prime toy, marked under the ID Number SS-32.

According to some speculations, he might have featured a new DOTM-based chest piece and possibly a new deco.

 

Could also be Shockwave. But then again, He could also have the tower scene or the power plant scene.

 

Sentinel, Shockwave or (less likely) Megatron. I’m down with any of those

Man I would take ANY of these or ALL but I agree an in scale Bonecrusher is needed most ... would also really like to see Megatron’s team from TLK sometime ... maybe Mohawk as a pack in with one of them to preserve scale

 

I wouldn't mind a Sentinel not burdened by gimmicks.

 

I'm guessing he'd be Voyager size. This would be a great opportunity to improve over the previous Voyager, who was kind of crappy, even for the time.

 

Not really. The torso was huge and kibbly in an attempt to use as much of the firetruck to replicate his chest, but just made him look fat and inaccurate. It was far from bad of course, but there's a LOT of room for improvement.

I hope it's Voyager Sentinel. He needs a desperate improvement.

A Leader class of those two figures will most definitely will not be happening if we're sticking to the current scale.

That specific scene is either Sentinel or Megatron. Shockwave wasn't seen at that portion of the film or in that specific scene.

I'm betting it's Sentinel. I mean, sure, it could be Megatron but the DOTM version is more or less in scale with Studio Series and I can't imagine they'd go and make him again already when they have need for new figure releases of characters like Sentinel who hasn't been seen in the line, yet.

I'm sure they'll make a DOTM Megatron at some point.

 

I'm going with deductive reasoning and saying it's Sentinel because Megatron could have any number of backdrops, least of all Africa with some elephants in the background, as his packaging. But this scene is rather definitive for Sentinel.

 

i'm hoping for Megatron. love the Tetanus Express design.

If Blackout is any indication Leader Sentinel can definitely work. That guy has a lot of density going on in robot mode and a pretty damn big firetruck to turn into.

A short but very layered leader will work, I think.

 

Not as big as a helicopter, though.

 

This scene looks like its from dotm. The Megatron we have seen is rotf design megs and not the dotm megs who had a damaged face and a cowl. So unless we are getting a second Megatron it has to be sentinel.

At this point shockwave was dead after tangling with prime.
