    Bloody AWESOME.

And looks like they were right about the transformations being more complicated. I know that the front of the car becomes the arms and chest (you can see the headlights on the shoulders), but there seems to have been a LOT of panel shuffeling.

Too bad there's no shot of his face, but at least he kept the horns. :D

EDIT: And he DOES have hands for those that think he doesn't. The left one has been removed for storage (looks like it's the new Camaro, so no damages), and the right hand can be seen behind the transports' wheels.

Pretty cool! I'm getting a Beast Machines/Transtech vibe out of it.

    how cool?

it's definitely a whole new generation of tf's. i hope the toys do not compromise on the design too much, they will definitely be in a completely different leage to anything before, even alternators.

I will be very interested to see how they make toys of this. This gives me high hopes for the movie bots look, but Hasbro is going to have a bitch of atime engineering decent transforming toys for that. Every toy would have to be Alternators complicated plus some. Obviously the "new" Camaro version of 'bee.

The closest thing to this is the Car Robo Brothers IMHO...

very very nice... but looking at the design, it definitely lends credibility to that starscream sketch that came out a few months ago...

Don't know if I like it from this given shot.

It's given me more of a Johnny5 vibe then an actual TF. MAybe it's all the exposed robot parts. Or maybe there are other parts that go on this and they removed them to move the model around.

I'm having a hard time seeing where the car would actually be.

    Hopefully it's just the shot...

Im going to try and stay excited about the movie but from the looks of this Image the Bot is a huge let-down. It looks like its right out of Beast Machines and we all know how that went over.

I used to think I could roll with these changes but its looking more and more like KiddieFormers. At least we get a Movie. I just hope Prime and Megatron are More Battle Ready. I guess I just dont like all the parts showing on the Bot. Lets hope we get better Images so I can change my mind.

They don't look like headlights on the shoulders to me. And from the looks of the square tubing sticking out of the shoulders, I'd say that not all the armour is on it in that shot.
I'm liking what I can see, though.

    I like. It's better than I expected.

As for toy version, didn't I read that Hasbro was involved closely with the design of the TFs?

Very interesting!!! I like it, a lot!!!!

And, Destro, you're saying the movie will suck because one shot of a robot resembles the Beast Machines designs...? And, because it resembles such a design, it will suck, because the cartoon was bad....? :peoples:

    I question your logic.

In any case, I don't think it looks "kiddie," especially given that this is a series about cars turning into robots. I mean, what could make this sort of thing NOT look "kiddie"...?

The other thing I'm NOT seeing is a hand. and that's with his arm(s) hanging off the platform. I think I'm seeing more claws than hands, which would be....unsetteling....

IT has to be the shot, it has to be....
