Are you sure it's not Makeshift you're mistaking for? Because it doe sound like him a bit.

Although if it IS a Vehicon powedred up by the Synthetic syrum with Dark Energon it'll be epic! Can't wait to see what he'll be like!

But no, it definitely had a visor, while Makeshift (at least in his true form) had two slit eyes.

Maybe from the color desciption you put out for him it could be Dead End! You know the guy that David Kaye may voice not t mention his own toy! He could be playing a role in the show after all as a Vehicn who's powred up!

If he's black, I'm thinking he's Dreadwing. If he's red, gold and blue, he's definitely one of the 13. But until we have pics I'm not sure.

 

The only reason I'm thinking it ain't Dreadwing is because he didn't look like...well, anything really. No discernible vehicle parts whatsoever, IIRC. Btw sorry it's taking forever guys but I've been waiting for this commercial for like three hours. I'll get it at some point.

 

How much of the robot do you see, just a head or an almost full body shot?

Also were the colors in any particular pattern? That could give us a clue.

I have not seen this.. and I watch The HUB quite often. Interesting.

 

It's a full body shot. He lands from offscreen, as if from a high jump, into a scene within a cybertronian room (I'm gonna assume inside the Nemesis). He's crouched upon landing, and begins to stand up. Been awhile at this point, so I can no longer clearly remember physical features save the Vehicon head and spikes.

 

It figures, the one time I set aside time to watch the Hub for an afternoon all I see are commercials about AVON, the Aquabats, and dinosaurs teaching me about good dental care.  

 

Hmm...it sounds like he could be falling down after transforming in midair which is something a jetformer would do.

Perhaps he's assisting Starscream for some reason. He did fly off at some point and now he's returning. It would make sense for that to be the Nemesis if he's helping out with the attack. Dreadwing was also described as not being aligned with any side which is the same situation SS is currently in.

 

Dreadwing is allied with the Decepticons, but he has misgivings and isn't exactly loyal.

 

I thought they said he just flat out didn't know which side to choose.

I almost had it. There's two versions of the commercial, a short and a long, but they begin the same way. Only the long one has the shot I'm talking about. Thought I caught it, but it was the short one. Fuck me

Out of curiosity, how does it start? There are so many freakin' Hub commercials that all start out pretty similarly.

 

Can't remember exactly, but it's a montage of shows with writing between them like WHERE ROBOTS

AND PONIES

COME TOGETHER

And it plays this repetitive song in the background that's like "something something COME ON x40"
