Anyway, found this scan posted on /toy/

With no other toys at all in the pics, hard to really judge the size/scale, but looks like an MP Fitor to me.

    I hope so.

Assuming it's an official release and a hint at a possible line, would Bandai be the ones producing these?

That would be awesome. Strange to not start with Leader 1 or Cy-Kill though...

Bandai owns the rights to the character designs, correct? While Hasbro owns the names?

If so, I can't see why Bandai wouldn't want to compete with Hasbro/Takara in the transforming robots department.

If that isn't Fitor then I don't know what is... Wow!

Odd. That's totally not a Hasbro toy yet I'm pretty sure Hasbro ended up owning the Gobots. Confused.

    Anyway, bring on MP Scooter!

Hasbro owns the owns Tonka owned, if Fitor had a different name in machine robot they could sell it under it.

Ah, you can see in the upper left corner of the first pic that this is being produced by Art Storm (producer of the Fewture super robots and the ES Gokin line), rather than Bandai.

I wouldn't bet on this being all that cheap, then.

Not much of a transfornming robot when you have to pop all the jet parts on and off.

I would much rather have them do something like the old Super Gobots where they can transform and still look good.

You're thinking of Gobots though, where Fitor was a minor character. In the Japanese Machine Robo anime, Jet Robo was a major character - he was part of the main crew alongside Rom Stol & his sister, Drill Robo and Triple Jim.

To Machine Robo, Jet Robo is effectively their Optimus Prime - he's the one they always homage and go back to, him and Drill.
