I don't know about mold degradation because every seeker I own is in top shape. But what I want to know is why does everyone still keep asking for TC? Hasbro has clearly said they will not release TC out of respect to the Botcon set owners. And the more important question is how do they do TC and still make him different enough from the Botcon release?

 

All they really need to do for Thundercracker is change the shade of blue they use and maybe alter the paint apps some. They didn't mind tweaking Classics Starscream and Skywarps slightly from the G1 versions, so they could figure out something for Thundercracker. I'd love a DARK blue version of him myself that looks like there is glitter in the plastic like the G1 Thundercracker. Its not like they can change the mold and stay true to the characters original concept, but that didn't originate with the Botcon version anyhow.

The major ones I really wanna see though are:

Black Starscream
Sunstorm
G2 Starscream
G2 Ramjet

I don't really care where they're exclusive to, lord knows I'll buy them anyway LOL, along with any other repaint they do.

 

For TC, I'd be happy if they just tweaked the paintjob a bit, maybe a bit like Henkei's paint apps.

 

Patience. I think Hasbro will play the long game with the Seeker mold, and Thundercracker will be released, but later rather than sooner.

My *guess* would be a standard wing seeker is next... Sunstrom perhaps(?)
Then Dirge, then back to a standard wing pattern, and Thundercrack.

I could be wrong of course.


...oh and if you happen to be watching Hasbro, i'm sure few would complain if a Skywarp in a more G1 deco was shoehorned in there.

 

I want:

• Thundercracker (light blue, like in the original animated movie)
• Dirge (silver pelvis to match Ramjet - or would that make him too much like the BotCon version?)
• Sunstorm (yellow, not orange... maybe a light yellowy-orange?)
• Generic Seeker (the purple guys from MTMTE)
• G2 Ramjet

 

I would actually love to have Sunstorm in done in translucent plastics. Put a nice little light behind him, and BAM, instant radiation.

The only one with real issues was Henkei Thundercracker. Every other release of a Seeker-type figure has been great save for those very few and very minor complaints. No one's said anything wrong about Ghost Starscream, the latest release.

Don't forget either, that there's been 3 different molds used for the standard Season 1 Seeker style figures. So it's not like they couldn't do another if they needed, as they've been.
