Has this been posted before? Included in the recent announcement regarding Shout Factory's upcoming Generation One DVD releases is a curious bit of information with regard to the DVD release of Revenge of the Fallen, set to be released in theaters in less than a month. Both press releases regarding those DVD's contain the following sentence: The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen feature film, directed by Michael Bay, is in theatres June 26, 2009. The DVD arrival in stores in Fall '09 will start the second wave of the Transformers frenzy. If true, this would more or less follow the same path from theaters to DVD set by the first film, whose DVD release was in October of 2007 after it's successful summer theatrical run. Its typical that any movies released in the Summer will come out on DVD and Blu-Ray Fall the same year.
