Is this correct? is it a different version of the beast wars neo big convoy?

I have 2 of this and if you look to the main cast area and each has a different color.
I think that the silver one is the "rarest" version of the two.

 

One Korean one Japanese? My Korean one has the blue.

 

What is the origin or these, from the single release, vs glavatron, or Japanese or Korean versions?

Just wondering since we're on the subject is the korean as tight as the japanese version? I want to get one but Dont know if I should get the japanese or korean version.

 

I have the korean one and it has the blue chest. I have no idea if it's as tight as the Japanese release... if I had the Japanese release, I wouldn't have the Korean one  .

However, my korean release is a bit loose in the feet and on the hip kibble. These being ball joints, however, I just have to get off my lazy butt and apply some future floor wax to fix both issues.

 

The Korean version I have is perfectly tight (and also has the blue chest). I've always heard there were no differences between the two as far as QC is concerned. Aren't the Korean TFs made in the same factories as the Japanese versions but then put into Korean text boxes?

They're virtually identical, and at (roughly) half the cost, go Korean. Sonokong is NOT a KO brand... Just in case some idiot is like OMG U GOT A KOREAN KO BIG CONVOY LOSER

When I bought my BC I paid around $30 shipped... Japanese was going for $100 or so before shipping... Same toy, cooler box, and I saved $70. Now that the Japanese one went down in price it isn't as much of a difference, but Korean is still cheaper.

Yeah, Sonokong stuff is great. I think the GaoGaiGar I have is a Sonokong version, too, but I could be mistaken. It isn't the 'authentic' Takara version though.

 

That would make it Sonokong.

All my BWII stuff, my Big Convoy, and all my (non KO) Brave is from Sonokong. Good stuff.

Was the silver one the single package figure or is it from the Vs giftset?

 

Possible, since the VS set comes in Beast mode, I don't have it, it's hard unless you have one and opened it to know for sure.

I took a quick look; seems blue is the right color for all the art from the box, tech spec, promotional art, booklet art, etc., yet he's silver in the cartoon (Probably to keep things simple animation/colorwise).

Mine is blue FWIW.
