So yesturday I went to zellers to see if they had any HFTD stuff. They didnt, their pegs were filled with ROTF rampages and ROTF sideways but there was one figure that stood out. They had only 1 ROTF Breakaway left, sitting alone on his own peg, nobody seems to likes him. Poor Breakaway who has to shelfwarm with an army of decepticons. :cry

I would have bought him if they didnt ask 19$ canadian for a deluxe :banghead:

He looks like a neat figure. I kind of wanted the Thrust repaint, but then Dirge came out and the movie line had a proper Conehead mold.

I have the light variant of Breakaway and he is a simple figure not much in the way of gimmicks but i love him! He has a nice transformation and i think he just looks awesome. Plus there is a mod to give his head better articulation. $19 canadian good though i can not say.

i love the Breakaway mold. it is simplistic, but it still retains the movie aesthetic.
if i had room, it would make a nice army builder (for the Seekers to command.)

I kinda re-joined in on the Transformers craze in the middle of ROTF, so I never managed to get him. I'm really tempted by the Thrust and Bumblebee two pack at Target, though.

With all this love for Breakaway, well let me be the one who really doesn't like him.
I have too many issues with him to list, just posting to even things out.
    Leave him on his peg.

Breakaway is amazing. I have made it my goal in life to own every single version of the mold.
He is worth 19$. Do not resist.

I picked up Breakaway after playing as him in the ROTF game. I freakin' loved how he could snipe fools and was expecting to see a sniper rifle or something similar in the toy. Still awesome, and I happily display him in my collection.

He also just has a cute look to him, with that face in the cockpit action going on. XD

He's a playable character in the video game? That seems weird.

I really like Breakaway. I was lucky that I got the darker version because I only saw the lighter version in my area (I got mine in Japan). My only gripe with him is that he can be a bit loose.

Yeah, I've been itching for that dark variant of the figure since Day One... yet kept procrastinating to get him, and I got Blazemaster instead. Sadly, Blazemaster wasn't worth my money, to say the least.

Breakaway looks like a great toy, with a clean, sleek jet mode, and a very unique robot mode. I like the cool camo brown paint scheme on him, and he was pretty cool in the ROTF game as part of the main five Autobots. I just don't like the odd green in his toys, however.

I like the Breakaway mold, but not the paint job. Thrust is a much better figure, IMHO, him, Dirge and Voyager Ramjet make a great movieverse coneheads (even though only one legitimately is). They look like such a nice gang together, the ambitious weakish leader, the scrawny cowardly goon, and the dumb ugly muscle.

As someone who isn't really into ROTF as a whole, Breakaway is a VERY fun figure and possibly the most enjoyable ROTF deluxe there is. And yeah, he is damn fun to play with on the game.
