I was wondering. What's the difference between how Polygon Pictures' produces its animated characters and those of other animation studios.

For example, this is how Blizzard produces its cinematics. Diablo 3 - BlizzCon 2009 - Cinematics Department Behind the Scenes - YouTube

How does Polygon Pictures produce its cg cartoons. What are its advantages and disadvantages whe compared to other animation companies? What software and other technologies do they use? What procedures do they follow to improve efficiency?

Also, in what ways can Polygon Pictures improve its animation?

Also, I think it would be great if we get a behind the scenes look at how they do their animation. At least to add more interest in Prime. Wouldn't it be better than a clip show episode? I think it would be interesting to see how they made an episode from the ground up. Complete with concept art, storyboarding, posters etc.

dude, that would be the coolest thing ever! I really, really hope they do that- possibly as a bonus feature one of the DVD's? seeing how the characters are sketched out for the animators would be absolutely fascinating. (and helpful) I'd also want to see how the VA's interact when they're recording. and maybe see some outtakes? gee, I wonder if we could send them an email about this, so they'd at least know we want it.
