    Marvel G1 comic, although IDW G1 is very close to over-taking it.

    Honestly my favorite is Dreamwave G1. I was very sad to see it go unfinished. Maybe in 20 more years someone will finish it.

    Second to Animated, I consider the Japanese cartoon continuity to be the universe all other Transformers fiction is made after

    It's a mixture of IDW G1, the G1 cartoon, Armada, and the "Aligned" continuity. Mostly IDW G1 though.

    I make my own continuity based off the G1 cartoon in the States. However, I mix in aspects of other continuities I find interesting. Megatron and Galvatron are different individuals. Optimus and Orion Pax along with Rodimus and Hotrod are Older/Younger brothers. There is gender and it is important to my own story. Transformers pair bond and have offspring.

    I would not have never have guessed that IDW would have done so well. I love it loads but it has always seemed to be a very niche appeal thing compared to the huge amount of people who go see the movies at the cinema or watch the latest shows on youtube or the large numbers of people bound to an old series by nostalgia.

    I guess its a testament to the quality of what they are putting out as it seems like a true word of mouth sleeper hit rather than money hype thing so its nice to see the little guy win, once in a while

    I'm not sure what to define definite as, but I have noticed my default setting tends to be the aligned borrowing from IDW.
